700 POUNDS OF MARIJUANA
10 POUNDS OF COKE
4 POUNDS OF METH

All STOLEN & SOLD ON THE STREETS by someone who is supposed to "protect & serve" the community!

Then the fool gets caught trying to steal another 60 POUNDS OF COKE to put back into the streets! He clearly was cocky & believed he was above the law like so many other renegade cops.

This rogue officer should have got a LIFE SENTENCE for undermining the public's trust under the "color of authority." They would have thrown the key away for anyone else caught with these numbers. Here in So. Cal, the cops, for the most part, make up the biggest & most dangerous gang in L.A.

Fear your government. Question authority. Know your rights.

Anything you say CAN & WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU.

Dirty cops.....every agency has one, it seems. Covina had theirs (narcotics det. who was banging his snitch and she got him hooked on meth-can we say "TERMINATED?" Glendora had theirs,(another meth head also teminated), Arcadia had theirs (terminated).....this list is endles.
Just stupid sh-ts who think they're above the law and won't get caught. Wrong!
It's gonna suk being Murillo, especially when he's in Federal Prison.

Oh well, at least with a federal sentence, he has to serve 80% of his sentence. That comes out to twelve loooooong years...and that is IF they parole him.

This guy's life will be hell in prison. Nobody has sympathy for greedy, crooked cops. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy ...

You all still got interns writing the headlines? How misleading is the headline that a policeman from west covina (i.e. lives in the w.c.) could also mean he's a w.c. cop... Are there any editors left in there to check the interns headline writing? Hope the WC Cops come down on you guys for being sooooo stu-ped.

I wasn't aware Covina had that problem as stated ahead of me. Cripe, I used to live there and thought they were great. Guess you never know who's the good guy or the bad guy anymore!

Uh, DOH! I did read the article. And if you read and were able to interpret my post correctly (which you obviously didn't and couldn't), you'd see that I made the comment that OTHER agencies-including Huntington Park-have had their problem officers as well..

Its obvious this rat was given a light sentence, any one else would have gotten a lot longer time in the joint.Dirty, crooked law enforcement always covers for their own.But of course he will be put in protective custody.

Poorly written article, West Covina Police officer or resident? Check your facts....Making West Covina Police Department look bad because of a poor headline is very sad...

I feel that the Tribune is (at best) on the level with a high school newsletter. That headline was deliberately misleading. The West Covina Police Dept. should request/demand an apology for such an asinine screw-up!

15 years was the max sentence he could have received. The judge wanted to make an example of him.
