The thing is --- running out the night before the boycott to spend their food stamps and just boycotting for a day doesn't accomplish anything.

I don't think so --- last year they only proved that the USA doesn't need their labor. Hundreds from the housing projects who don't anyhow and their anchor babies ditched school proved last year that their work stoppage and protests did not have any effect on the economy.

Actually if they ditch school the entire day it saves a lot of tax payer dollars.

Last I knew, Maywood, Huntington Park, Bell Gardens, Bell and Cudahy were American cities, not Latino.

Did any one see the contridictions in the Latino community about immigration? First they are trying to get the immigration legislation passed and hate Americans for trying to stop it, and now they are throwing a protest the legislation to try and stop it forever. mmmmm....

The only simularities is that Latino's always confuse Legal immigration with illegal immigration as all being immigration and needing reform. All immigrants are not the same. All immigration is not the same. The only reform we need is what to do and how to handle the illegal immigrats, and then our reform should be to strongly enforce the exsisting laws.

Hey how about this? I say we hold a pay bocott. I say large companies down to small businesses that opposse illegal immigration, hold a job's boycott for three days. Just have all the employees who do a labour boycott, have a htree day off time frame. You fail to show up to work, then take three days off without pay.....

Brown skinned latin/Hispainic illegal immigrant supports should learn what it would be like to live "A DAY WITHOUT A WHITE PERSON" If they complain about the thing that puts money in their pockets, then they can do without that money right?

D*mn! It amazes me how many white people look at the USA as a populated by "white people" or "other". There are black, red, yellow, brown people that have been here longer than a lot of white people. stop being an racist *ss.

Notice how all these minority groups like to boycott "The White Man". They want to show how important they are to the "White man" Yet they forget that they are doing something for "The White Mans Money". It's like they love to bite the hand that feeds them.....
