I strongly disagree with your comment because even if he was fed up with the way he was being treated, that did not give him the right to take anyones life! Specially our beloved Jaime, he was so nice to EVERYONE. That man was jealous of Jaime because he had a better position than him and did not want to take orders from a younger man

Alan Bohnhoff was an honorable human being. He and his family are generous of spirit and always willing to help someone out. I am sure the man who killed him benefited from this famiies generosity on more than one occasion. My hope is that the man who comitted these murders at some point in his life fully and clearly understands the magnitude of the pain he has caused for both families. This is truly senseless.

As a part of the Daily News cut-backs and layoffs they've done away with spell check.
Spell check would not have caught that... You still need real people.

Do you think people might have thought the same about the holocost? You're common sense and logic are lacking.

Seems yours is, too.

How much does a 'holo' cost, anyway?

Ohhhh......you meant HOLOCAUST.

'Scuse me.

Can you believe that because he didn't get promoted to be foreman he decided to kill the owner and the one who was promoted. Unbelievable.

Your God loves me despite the spelling error. I'm sure he loves you despite the fact that you use inane religious ideology to explain the murder of two inocent people. Check my original post I'm sure there are a few spelling errors in it you could correct.

Also to let everyone know, Charlie and Alan weren't even going to lay-off or fire this scum who shot Alan and Jaime. He was a long time employee who they understood wasn't the best, but the Bohnhoff's, being, well, the Bohnhoff's--the very best of people, are loyal to anyone and everyone that works for them, especially who are friends with them.
Some of the comments here are disgusting; its amazing that the Daily News allows it.

As a proclaimed friend of the Bohnhoff family, Charlie really doesn't need your comments on the details of this tragedy. Please keep them to yourself.

But, I too am amazed at the disgusting comments made by people who obviously don't know those involved.

Afraid you have made a judgement about someone you don't know and sound like a moron. The victim was a good and decent man who treated the employees of the family run business with kindness and a good heart. For a fact they had helped out the family of the shooter including helping for his mothers funeral.
Maybe you should get away from the computer and out a little more and stop making judgements on what you don't know about.

I hope he wasn't provoked by beiing cheated on pay or some other common work related dispute that many of us have to put up with in these days of high unemployment and extra worker exploitation. If he was provoked let this be a warning to all employers to not try to exploit workers any further. I hate to say it.
