50 dogs removed from East Northport home

Police and firefighters wearing face masks and air tanks removed dozens of dogs Tuesday from a suspected puppy mill at an East Northport home.

Where are all of those animal lovers who spoke and wrote so badly about 15 dogs in N Bellport. Why is this woman not a savage as you so easily called the victim of a gun shot.

I have been to this house it was discusting! She should go to jail she treated these dogs like they were nothing but money makers. That is why she drives a lexus blood money!

I love Irene, she's a good woman who raised 5 children virtually on her own. Her house is beautiful, her animals are healthy and well cared for and she is a beautiful person.

I did call the SPCA and she was raided about a year ago beacuse of it THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Walk in one's shoes before you judge them. She is a good woman. She has the knowledge of (or better) than a animal doctor. She took in sick squirrels and healed them and let them go.(She took excellent care of her dogs, not like the paper said. I'll always love Irene, she's good people and a good neighbor.

Try going to a local SPCA Center, they stink too ! Any place that has a lot of animals stinks. Are animals toilet trained ? I love Irene, I love dogs, she's the best.

She found good homes for the puppies,what about the breeding dogs she had? They were bred on thier first heats and bred every cycle after. That is not an animal lover it is an animal USER! If it didn't have a uterus it wasn't good for her. As soon as they were too old to produce she would get rid of them. Even if it was to a good home they still had a awful life before.

Not only is it racially divided it is socially divided as well. If this happened in Mastic, Selden, Farmingville, Brentwood, Central Islip, Freeport, Hempstead, Roosevelt, etc all you would be reading is how everyone from those towns are dirtbags. I love Irene too. Once our cat got hit by a car and Irene helped nurse her back to health, FOR FREE ! Boy was my little girl happy. Irene is a good woman, no doubt about it Maags!
