DEC expands monitoring stations for shellfish toxin

Researchers have expanded monitoring stations to detect potentially deadly toxins in shellfish beyond Northport, but said this week's closure there of 2,100 acres of shellfish harvest areas is temporary.

As the commercial and residential building continues.

The Man's gotta get more Tax dollars..just keep raping the land of Oxygen delivering trees, build golf courses at waters edges. Then have the DEC do a study. Idiots!

It's my fault for bringing the stuff in from Maine with my oysters two years ago and not telling the DEC the truth. I need to have my tires slashed again.
