It is a private club. They have the right to select their members just as any other private "social" club does. We all know that these exist within the minority population, but never an anti-discrimination suit against them.

I absolutely agree. But the club made a huge mistake in taking the check to begin with. They opened themselves up for a lawsuit, now they have to deal with it.

I've been a lifeguard at a similar facility while a summer camp came for a couple hours. The minority portion of the summer camp was much greater than that of the membership of the club. The club members and guards who did not want the kids there were not racially motivated. When the camp came the place was swarmed by kids of various ages, with the camp supervision not always able to control the kids. Who can blame the kids tho--they're having a good time with their friends. Granted the camp that came to my pool was a lot larger, but the idea is the same.
STOP CRYING RACISM. All it does is enforce the notion of inequality. Want equality, ACT like you're not any different, don't just expect to be treated like it.

I can understand the kids and parents being upset at first for what I believe was just a reaction to hordes of children descending on the pool, but now they have overplayed the discrimination card in order to get a monetary reward.
Those children are not "scarred for life" unless their parents continue to blow this out of proportion.

Will the white campers be included in the lawsuit or will they be excluded?

Figures there'd be a lawsuit. Just a bunch of proch monkeys looking for another free hand out. I guess standing in the welfare line was too much work.

This Private Club should have avoided the deal to begin with.

This lawsuit will definitely cause this private club from offering deals in the future to these kids. At least it should if the Club directors learned anything.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Capricorn

If you need to get someone organized, this is the day to do it. You'll sort things out without sounding bossy or patronizing, and you'll also get co-operation instead of resistance. It's a good day for having a serious chat with a child, perhaps because you need to explain something and want to make sure you do it properly, in a way that doesn't create confusion or fear.
