your thought process baffles me. Instead of letting kids from the swim club interact with a diverse race they may not interact with on a daily basis, learning that despite what they may have heard from their parents that the "black kids" aren't as bad as they're lead to believe. On the flip side the day care kids could learn about standing up for what is right, and that despite what some of the members said not everyone is racist and there are some good "white folks".<quoted text>
I think it would be great if this pool closed.
Why should only the black children have to face the consequences of these white parents' behavior?
Now their own kids will learn a valuable lesson about discrimination, and it's negative consequences.
Now you tell me which actually would help destroy a wall that, in many peoples views, divide this country...destroying the club, or including everyone. I guess not using logic must be "the Chicago way"
