To those who say they won't vote because the candidates are "all the same," etc. Let's look at just 2 issues, and then hear you repeat that claim:
Natural gas drilling: At a time when our state is facing a $3. billion budget shortfall, Onorato supports a reasonable tax on natural gas extraction from the big Marcellus Shale segment of Pennsylvania, a tax that ALL OTHER STATES have!
Corbett supports giving away our state's natural resources to multi-national corporations, with no taxation, leaving PA taxpayers to pay for cleanup and environmental damage!
Joe Sestak supports keeping and strengthening Social Security. Pat Toomey wants to resurrect the failed attempts of the disastrous Bush administration to privatize Social Security.
Any more questions?

Working for Xerox, I'm sure Mr Nogle knows a lot of what small businesses face.

As a small business owner, I can tell you that the Republican Party could care less. Especially if you are like most small businesses and have fewer than 10 employees.

Health insurance premiums have been hurting companies like this for a decade or more. The Republicans did nothing and then lobbied against, lied about and voted no on the reform bill that helps small business in this area.

Furthermore, any one who says we need to get back to the Constitution and votes Republican because if it is an idiot. They have been duped, misinformed and dumb enough to believe the rhetoric from the right like Beck & Limbaugh & Palin.

Oh Please. This dumbazz Republican can't even be original in their lame arguments.

Papers please is the Arizona Law that the right favors. Taking away the constitutional rights of Hispanic American citizens.

The party that gave the government the right to sweep American citizens off the streets without trial or even being read their rights is now trying to blame Democrats for ignoring the Constitution.

I'm not voting for anyone who was in office and aligned their yeas and nays in support of Rendell. He never passed a budget on time, pouted and withheld school funding to get his way, and the only people who benefited from him are the casino owners and the gambling commission.
I'm really fed-up with our current two party system, their personal agendas and the pass the buck BLAME GAME. Reminds me of when my son was small and had an imaginary playmate who was always responsible for the bad things that happened. Far as I'm concerned they're all guilty by association.

I wonder if "Retired Teacher" is living off a fat taxpayer supported pension & Social Security. Medicare paying for the majority of your health care bills?

This teacher doesn't even understand the definition of socialist or socialism. What an embarrassment for all the competent teachers out there. This teacher obviously should have been removed based on lack of competence, but I guess he/she was protected by his/her union.

I wonder. If Bill Landis has his way & the federal government cuts taxes, won't this force some cuts to funding to the states?

And when the States get less money, won't they spend less on education?

And when they spend less on education, won't our local districts be forced to turn to us for more funding?

And if this funding were be to fix a crumbling school, would Billy Landis launch yet more personal attacks on the local school boards for needing our tax dollars to fix them?

How stupid can your get?????

Have you ever READ the LAW...Guess not.. Democratics have never read a Bill in their life...they leave it up to their Socialist Higher ups as to how to vote...because you do not know how to read or fear for your life if you refuse to OBEY the MASTERS

There is no law that takes away Constitution Rights as long as citizens keep a fair and balance check on those that want to destroy this Country from within.

READ THE ARIZONA LAW..before you run your mouth on a subject you know nothing about.

Under the Patriot Act under Bush, the federal government could take a US citizen off the street or from their own home & hold him indefinitely without even charging them.

I wonder how many legal US Hispanic citizens will be asked "papers please" under the AZ law?

Explain how exactly you identify the citizens that want to destroy our country from within? Are you advocating being the one who decides this? Are you now making it a crime to be anything but a far right Republican?

I'm thinking the US Constitution gives that citizen the right to have a different opinion than you on what is destroying our country. Like me. I think its freaking idiots like you on the right running around screaming "Constitution" "Constitution" while you believe & support items that actually take away our rights as US citizens. The right to trial, the right to protection against unreasonable searches, and the right to marry who you want.

Seriously though Retired Teacher, you clearly have no idea what a Socialist is. It's a buzzword you must throw out constantly and has absolutely no meaning in the context you use it. To you I suppose it's just a bad word to call someone and will drum up some sort of emotional response in anyone who hears it. It's a sad, tired tactic that lost steam months ago with your ilk.

Let me just remind you of one thing - if you considered government-backed healthcare (no matter how minimal) to be socialist, consider then that the entire education system in this country is also socialist.

As a retired teacher, wouldn't that make you the biggest socialist of them all?

Unbelievable isnt it.

The LIFEBLOOD of Franklin County is SOCIALISM...for the past 40 years!

Once there was nothing...

Letterkenny came in and employed and trained tons of people. That pumped money into the economy - and enabled builders like Rockwell to build tons of houses, create a tax base, expand the economy and empower banks.

Companies like Grove and JLG were able to take advantage of the more skilled Letterkenny trained workers. These companies looked a little more capitalistic - but the underpinnings were Socialism all the way.

The only thing here before Letterkenny was Agriculture...state regulated.(That means socialism for those of you in St Thomas)

But somehow - the people around here have gotten the idea that they are the most red blooded, patriotic, capitalists that have ever lived...what a joke!

For those that do not like our current two party system of government why don't you take yourself SOUTH of the Border and complain about their system of government.

Can you guess how long you will be able to survive???

One of the great things about this country you can complain to your hearts content and never worry what may happen to you.

At least for now.........

THINK ABOUT IT..........

You know Dave & soclibfiscon, A Boehner, and of course A Talking Horse, its people like you that make me sick.

I agree with SOLDIER, IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT HERE…..leave……..let’s see if you can demand your constitution rights south of the Border.

I bet none of you have been out of the County let along out of the State.

No one is talking about taking the “RIGHTS” away from any American Citizen.

I am surprised that none of you took a stand against the NEW BLACK PANTHER PARTY that denied the people the right to vote in your own back yard of Philadelphia
intimidating the voters to vote Democratic in a menacing manner.

The Obama US Attorney took up the cause and transferred the US Attorney in charge of the Civil Rights Division to South Carolina

But, of course, you all showed was cowardice and did not want to get involved for fear they may come after you.

This is what you call a good Democratic that looks out for it’s people!!!!!!!!!!

How much did you get to sell out your country???????

Yes, I am sick of you cry babies while I sit here wondering where they will send me next to protect your RIGHTS…………….

Wow - what a confused individual...

Who said anyone about not liking it here?

I just think its hypocritical of people to cry "Socialist" when this area has been bastion of socialism for decades.

You dont see the irony that you - a Marine (or you "retired teacher)...on the public dole could call anyone a socialist!?? Our national defense is socialized...funded by the taxpayers. You're life is all about socialism...

I guess YOUR socialism is ok?

This is false. The New Black Panthers never prevented anybody from voting.

After hearing about threats of voter suppression in a majority black neighborhood, they went to the polling place to make sure that black citizens weren't denied their right to vote.

Where might they send you to protect my rights? As far as I can tell there isn't a foreign country on the face of the earth that is threatening my rights. Only the loud-mouthed teabaggers who want to carve amendments out of the Constitution are threatening my rights.
