C'mon, tell me something I can believe. In 2004 the Game Commission caught a major poacher in Fulton County, convicted him, he appealed and lost, and STILL hasn't paid a penny. Mr. Goshorn can't be too worried.

The payment plan isn't set by the commission, it's set by the court. I'm just glad they got this guy. Now wonder there aren't any deer around.

Did he eat it? Share it? Charge him per deer plus license fees, no jail time that's a waste of our tax dollars.

"It was amazing that one person would illegally kill so many deer," Leonard said.

I bet a family in mainsville has that beat! They somehow never get caught.

Jon was always trying to be a tough guy.
It would be different if he was trying to put food on the table.
But this dude has major deer issues.
He wont see any jail time maybe not even a fine.

How can they prove he killed them all?
Coulda been Billy, Billy Bob, Billy Bob Jr and Barbara Bill Jo's racks. Johnny was just storing em all.

I find it hard to believe the PGC can/would charge someone 16 years after a violation. For what? Having antlers? Oh I wish I was the attorney for Mr Goshorn. He will walk! Just about every house I visit in Fulton County has a set of deer horns being displayed. There is nothing criminal in having antlers. Please don't waste the taxpayers money pushing for a conviction. Stock more Rednecks or trout.

Thank you Warden Leonard for arresting this guy. He has been trespassing and shooting both buck and doe all over the Path Valley area for years. He acted like he owned the whole valley! Again, thank you!

This is going on in most parts of Franklin and Cumberland county. No wonder there are no deer.

For those of you who consider yourself hunters and complain that there are no deer; you have to get more than 100 yards from your vehicle or cabin, not smoke your cigarettes, and stay awake to see deer. They are there.

Barry Leonard does a good job and would not have charged the guy unless he had a case.

Things are getting a little out of hand..I hear it was his wack job ex g/f that turned him in.. You don't just get a Warden who lives in New Franklin to hear about illegal deer being shot from 1992 to the present in path valley!!!!This poaching goes on all over the area and there is no way to stop it..I will say this whoever the whistle blower is I doubt you have made a lot of friends!!

This is a disgrace for the honest sportsmen. Unfortunately it is very common. The Game Commission knows a lot more names but putting together the evidence is the problem. I bet the ones that poach also cheat on their income taxes.

How many deer do the Amish poach every year and what is done to them. And don't say crop damage that only goes so far.

Maybe not jail time for this guy make him work in a slaughter house for 10 years without protective gear.
