It's quite comical, the lengths one will go to stay on a drunk. Self Will Run Riot; what a menace to society.

What they should have done was hitch up the trailer and tow it to the jail. Problem solved.

Wow, so local law enforcement will believe just a note tacked to your door??

How funny! LOL!!

'A note on the door stated that Freet no longer lived there and "everyone was to stop harassing the occupant."

No contact was make, and the deputies left to continue their investigation.'
So when does it end

So does this mean the next time you feel like tying one on and don't have anyone to drive you, you can just tape a note to your car window that says, "nope, not drunk, just tired and on cold meds, don't bother me"?

WTF??

What do you suggest they should have done? Started pounding on the door and maybe faced a man with a gun??

That area is highly populated with a lot of children out playing during the summer. They may have went to the Park management and checked to see who was registered to live there and how many people were suppose to be living there.

Then they were back and saw his car and knew for sure that it was him. To me this makes more sense that beating on the door before they knew what they were going to be facing.

I think its SERT, not CERT. What did the Franklin County Dept. of Emergency Services have to do with an attempted warrant service? Did the county start arming dispatchers or something?

"Pennsylvania State Police were called and the CERT team was requested.."

For future reference, it's Special Emergency Response Team (SERT). I don't think State Police is sending a team of cops armed with breath mints.

Freet, and guys like him, put everyone at risk with reckless actions. Is this a case of someone who can't handle his liquor or a destructive personality who wants to go down and doesn't care who he takes with him? In either case, jail is a good way to separate him from good citizens.

The correct meaning of "CERT" is Corrections Emergency Response Team. I know, because I was on one.

Sorry to hear that!
He seemed to be doing pretty good. I was hoping that he'd get his stuff together after being locked up since teenage years. Sad, Sad, Sad!
There is still hope for those who screw up!
Think Positive and get your priorities straight.
Life is so much better on this side of the window.
