Quit crying and study so u can be a productive member of society, pay taxes, then die. U keep drinking...add some pills to the equation so u can truly enjoy the college experience cuz, after all, others before u have done it. Oh, and maybe u'll OD like others have before u. You're right - let's not charge them with underage drinking, let's wait till they drive down to Rutters or Twin Kiss, then charge them with manslaughter when they hit another car.

Don't they suspend driving privliges for underage drinking? Could always plead not guilty and see what happens....

I feel so much better now that the names were released. I mean, since the story was initially reported, I have spent many a sleepless night obsessing over the names of these kids. I called the PO countless times begging them to investigate the story further, and boy did they come through. Thank you PO. We are all much safer. By the way, nice work on posting the name of a 17 year old, who is a minor. And while we are on the subject, funny how the some of the names of the underage kids caught at Cowans Gap this summer, some minors, eluded your reporting. Very interesting.

Were all these kids actually drinking or are they just guilty by association, by being present at a party where liquor was present? Were all of them given Breathalyzer tests? How can anyone making comments here condemn these kids for what most of did when we were their age? I think it's a shame that their names were printed. Give teenagers a break. They are given a bum rap by adults who clearly can't remember the many ways, some illegal, that we used to relax and have fun when we were young. Law enforcement should spend more effort on pedophiles, domestic abusers, people in power who waste taxpayer money, and corruption within their own ranks. Sure, underage drinking is illegal, but it's usually a victimless crime. Protect and serve - you can start anytime.

Sorry - forgot the "us" in the third sentence - "for what most of US did when we were their age"...

The drinking age in Pa. should be 18, if you can die for your country why not be able to drink?????? The goverment should raise the age to 21 to serve in any branch of the military.
good story

I'm hoping the 17year old is being charged as an adult-with underage drinking. Public Opinion should know better then to put a minors name in print.

Die for our country? LOL. Yeah, let every age drink then. LOL. Maybe we'll all use that excuse.....I'm dying for my country so I'm allowed to drink. LOL...I'll drink to that!

We call them adults and charge them as adults when they are 18, but they can't drink until they are 21. So which is it—you’re an adult when you’re 18 or 21? I think we should be consistent with how they are treated. The last time I read the PO there were a lot of “so- called adults” getting DUI's. It doesn't matter the age, lots of people makes stupid choices and there are no laws out there that are going to stop stupidity from happening.

Bwahahahahahahahaha. Dummies. Expect this will happen and if you drink, you might get caught. If you get caught expect consequences.

Bet mommy & daddy are PISSED right now.
