I'm looking for an Angeline Renninger. Her deceased husband was my father. I never was able to meet him, but I know he has three sons. They have no clue I was ever born but I would like to meet them very much. One of the sons names is Christopher Renninger but thats all I know. I've performed a search but it just gave me old addresses and all my letters were returned. Humble and Kingwood Texas were where most of the addresses were from. Anyone heard of these people or know where I can go to find them?

I tried to find archived Echos here in Humble, and it seems that they never archieved them. What a loss. I will keep looking, and if I find any, I will let you know.

Yes, the Humble Echo had a closet where they archived stacks of old issues. This was in the early '90s. This was on the 1st floor of the bank building on the 59 north-bound feeder road, north of 1960 in Humble. Former editor Larry Terry might be able to help. Last I knew, he lived in Kingwood.

Does anyone remember the Edelweiss Restaurant on Main Street in Humble, Texas? I would like to know when it when out of business and why. It was sold several years ago and while it was being renovated, it burned down.

My Dad worked at the Humble Echo in the 1960's and also printed The Lake Houston Sportsman newspaper. Mr Bryant was the owner back then....
