This fight isn't over yet!!! We will not give up trying to save our school. We can and will appeal this decision. I just hope that the State Board gives us the chance.

I would take your money and your effort you put into trying to save Lost City Schools and put it into the new schools you will be attending and make them better. There is just only so small a school you can run efficiently.. if there isn't money, there isn't money. Hulbert is what, 3 miles away?

I graduated from HHS and I Refuse to send my kids there. They attended Shady Grove until this year, and that would be an option exept S.G is already at compacity, they are not big enough for any more children. Last year the 1st grade class had over 24 students. Hulbert contrary to popular belief is full too. They have students in portable buildings. Peggs is always an option and I am not sure yet what their class sizes are. I am about an equal distance from Hulbert and Peggs.
So what choice do I have as a parent? Send my kids to a school where I know personally, they won't get the kind of education they deserve or continue to fight to keep them where they will?
I think my children's education is important enough to fight for at all costs.

The problem goes back to former Board members who listened to all the lies and cover up that Annette Millard(I refuse to call her Dr. because her degree is in school finance!) told them. She hand manipulated her board until she got people on there that she new would listen to her and not ask questions. The biggest one has moved out of state!! Board members should have been asking questions about why the schools numbers went from 150 students to 60 instead of giving her a big raise. She was one of the highest paid Supers in the county. Fewest students highest paid--- Does that make since??? That is why she lied on those grants to make sure that she received her big salary as she was cutting staff and activiies for her school.

We will fight!! I was raised if you truly believe in something, fight for it. They may end up shutting us down, but atleast my children will remember that their Mom and the community fought like crazy to keep them where they want to be.

Today i watched the 12:00pm news on Channel 6 in Tulsa,
Sandy Garrett was talking about the Lost City School.
Now,There was no problem with her but, there was some JERK sitting to her right, Trimming and Filing his Fingernails
If there ever was a person with a more " let's get this thing over with" attitude, I can't remember seeing them.
That was about as rude and non-caring as I've ever seen.
People like that has no place dealing with children or the school system
