$11M bond issue vote set in Hugo

my name is mandy stepp. my mother works at the high school. if there were ever there were a new school needed in hugo it would definately be the high school the school was in bad shape when i attended there in the 80's and 90's. i know my grandfather attended school there and today he would be in his late 80's. i think that a new high school is much more needed than the elementary school that was built i just hope the same contractors dont build it if it is approved cause look at the problems the elementary has had.

Agree that a new HS is needed but a 40%, yes 40%!, increase in property tax to fund it????

No wonder it failed. Instead of 80/20 failure of 3 yrs ago this time it only failed by 60/40.

If the administration keeps this up we'll never get a new school. Come on guys, come up with a plan that's passable!
