You will truly be missed J.F.B. There are not enough good people in this world, granted I did not know you personally. From all I have heard, it is a shame you were taken so early from a community that loved you. R.I.P. my friend. Thank you for your service.

A hero (hera or heroine in female)(Ancient Greek:ἥρως hḗrōs), in Greek mythology and folklore, was originally a demigod, their cult being one of the most distinctive features of ancient Greek religion.[1] Later, hero (male) and heroine (female) came to refer to characters who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, display courage and the will for self sacrifice – that is, heroism – for some greater good, originally of martial courage or excellence but extended to more general moral excellence. He was hero in the criminal just us eyes.
He was a paid trained exadurator part of an evil group called a criminal justice system. He is a hero in the eyes of evil people. He is not a hero to an average educated citizen. He was a anti citizen thugs with a badges.
Truck drivers , but there life on the line and have a more dangerous job. People who do noting good for a living must EXADERATE every little thing. Like a little child bragging about there coloring. They are proud. It is nothing compared to the people who work for a living. Just because he finally did something he is a hero. This is no hero. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. A victim of his own surroundings in which he wanted to be in. You hang out with the bad boys you have problems.

Life is short. Members of criminal just us systems never see eternity. Thank God. Members of the brotherhood always have thousands and of victims most are children and they never forgive them.
Karma is hell.
Thousands of members of the brotherhood show respect. People never respect cops. You earn respect.
Another one bites the dust. It is a wel know fact the system is broke. We need all new . It is to broke to fix. We must end the evil within. We need a peoples justice system and end crimminal just is systems harming us all. All police should be held accountable and incarcerated . Not made heros. Next I will hear how GW Bush was a hero. Propaganda .

Unnecessary, unwanted and unneeded drivel from an undesirable individual who has a definite mental and writing impediment.
Go out in the middle of a forest and scream your agenda.
Go away. Let the man lie in peace.

Jerry,
Your comment doesn't even make sense. The article was about "Thousands paying respect to a fallen officer", and you turn it into nonsense babbling.
It was a great article depicting this officer as a human being, just like the rest of us. He was murdered doing his job. Protecting us and protecting the car-jacking victim that was trying to buy weed. Sort of a drug deal gone bad. Who was the true victim??? Sgt. Bergeron was. He risked his life many times to help and protect people just like youwithout question. Thats what cops do Jerry. They answer the call.
They dont sit behind a computer and ramble and tarnish a very nice article about a husband, father, son, and a brother to many that gave the ultimate sacrifice.

officers my view is a majority point of veiw. It is needed to preserve America. Only a true terrorist thinks different. Remember life is short. Keep it up officers. It will be lonely up their without predators with badges.
Show respect for his victims. He is no hero. He did not do anything , except was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could have happened to anyone. They are not heros. He was shot for being a member of the criminal just us system. He should have been a member of a peoples justice system.
This is not a HERO.

Jerry - if you want to be taken seriously by posting things like you did here, please use spell check first. Even then, you're still completely clueless. I respect your right to freedom of speech and expression but for goodness sake, a man was murdered. Period. Regardless of his job a good person, a wonderful Dad and a loving husband was murdered in cold blood and deserves to be laid to rest and remembered by his comrades. Your propagandist drivel is just annoying.

he was not ahero. This article is make a mountain out of a mole hill. He was at work and got shot. If a truck driver dies it makes the obits. This is making a marter out of a badge carring criminal as they all are. This is another exaduration by trained exadurators. Someone has to support these groups . The people no longer support todays criminal just us systems.
The real question is how many children did this save? Get real officers. The people know better.

It's clear this man died trying to catch a couple of real scumbags. But does getting shot in the line of duty constitute any real basis for being declared a "hero"? Isn't he another murder victim? Are all murder victims heros, or only those who wear uniforms?

Jerry, you're one of those idiots that protest soldiers' funerals with signs that read 'Thank God for IEDs!' aren't you? Sgt. Joe Bergeron was a hero who was cold bloodedly ambused by people who should have been far from a civilized society. Go back under your bridge you troll.
