Hugo woman who survived tornado dies

A Hugo woman whose home was damaged in Sunday's tornado has died, the Washington County sheriff's office said this morning.

She was complaining of headaches? Sounds very. familiar. Something very similar happened to my grandma back in the 1999 "St Peter tornado". That tornado actually began west of Comfry Minnesota where she lived. Her house took a direct hit. It stood and she survived however she had headaches and had a hard time hearing afterwards. Sadly she had a stroke a few days later and died shortly afterwards. Maybe this is what happened to this woman. Very sad

How sad to have survived a disaster like that tornado, only to die a few days afterward just trying to put her life back together. For anyone else not feeling well, even just a headache, seek medical advice. Even if it turns out to be nothing, it may be worth it.

She probably died from a broken heart or depression. My condolences to her family. May the Lord and His angels visit all the victims of this tragedy and lift their spirits so they can get through this cruel time in their lives. I would also like to commend all the volunteers and care professionals who have unselfishly given of the time and energy to assist those in need right now. When Mother Nature wants to win, we are powerless to stop her. Hang tough Hugo and Coon Rapids-ites...

wow. people actually had to disagree? is everyone else ok with the fact that instead of focusing on this woman that passed on, they turn the story back to the Hugo tornado? What a sad sad world we live in.

Theres 4 comments posted before yours , I don't see anyone flipping the story from the death of this woman to the tornado , i do however see that they r mentioning the connection geesh get a grip !!

ummm...I was referring to the article...not the posters before me. If I had been referring to a person that posted prior to me, I would've quoted them.
