Poor baby..... I'll never understand murder-suicides; it's one thing to take your own life, but to take someone with you that doesn't want to go.........Selfish.

That poor baby boy. Its a sad situtation all around you would think that he or she who ever shot the other then took there own life would have waited for that baby not to be home. Breaks my heart..

My thoughts, prayers, and tears go out to the remaining family members of this family. Knowing some of the family personally this is a tragic event to have happened! I hope with all my heart that little boy didn't have to see what happened-that his family got to him in time. Poor darling! and why didn't the neighbor call when she heard the gunshots???

Maybe if the neighbor called the police at 2am when the "muffled shots" were heard someone would still be alive.

For clarification, in my previous post I started with a response to someone who's post has now been deleted. It was off topic and not appropriate for this particular story. So, my apologies if my prior post's first sentence doesn't make sense!
Again, my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is affected by this tragedy. Prayers too, to anyone who is struggling with pain that might push them to a similar situation.

Come on! It isnt her fault, god only knows what is sounded like to her. And from the sounds of the family that lived there gun shots would be the farthest from her mind.
My neighbors play video games on there surround sound and it sounds like world war fricking III throught the walls! Should I call the police everytime I hear a "muffled shot"?

A co-worker of mine is related to the victims. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. My co-worker is just a sweetheart and I can only imagine how the family is dealing with this.

I know the family and this is a shock to everyone. Mike loved his family and adored his son. This is something no one would have ever guessed him to do. He was not a bad person by any means and was a family man all the way. Whatever happened in his life to make him do this must have been horrific.

I'm glad the little boy was spared. The mother was a coworker of ours and a wonderful person.
We will miss her...she didn't deserve this.

Mike always talked about his little boy and loved him very much He would never have planned anything like this especially with Sarah in her condition There is more to this story that no one is hearing and may never hear Something must have happened to make this happen Although it should have never happened no one should disrespect either of them by saying anything cruel about them No one has the right to judge either of them They both were good people

Some of you are making the assumption that HE did it. Although most of the time it is the guy that pulls the trigger, there are times when it is the woman. The Steve McNair case is a recent example.

I would like to say that I knew Mike, His work was incredable! as is his love for his son, and wife. Mike always has had photos of Michael in his tatoo room, and those photos were surrounded by pictures of Christ, he always said Michael was protected this way. My daughter and I were with Mike on January 9th, and we laughed the entire time, Mike was kind of grumpy till he got to know you but when he was comfortable, he was alot of fun!! Mike always had only wonderful things to say about Sarah, he was so proud of her, and Michael was the light of his life. God bless every person touched by this family, you are all in our prayers, and thoughts.

We do not know who pulled the trigger and truthfully it really doesn't matter. It sounds like two wonderful people are gone and they leave a son without parents. Very sad.

To M. Boldt & J.Brewer:

What is the rest of the story? How many of you in WBL have shotguns or firearms, according to this story ,etc. in your homes? Look again at the previous article - He made DONATIONS of firearms & shooting accesories? Good grief- Krispy Kreme donuts is all you can report? What is wrong with the police department, and the press, in overlooking this HUGE red flag - i.e.(problem one) and to use your quote (problem 2)- "destroying these weapons? Is this not the biggest ACT OF STUPIDITY since the poor baby DENNIS JURGENS???.
Two people are dead - is this all you have to say to the 4 year old child when he gets older??
