Teresa Collett actually cares what Minnesotan's think and want and will do the job, I know this first hand. Betty has been working on Global Health for years rather than health care for Minnesota. She voted to tax Minnesotan's for health care now, that won't be in effect until 2014 while she works and votes for health care for foreign countries now, paid for with Minnesota tax dollars. Betty signed a letter against Israel who is America's friend.

Theresa is brilliant and understands the constitution. Betty is incredible stupid and does what ever the Democrat machine tells her to.

Collett does not answer her mail and offers nothing as an alternative to the directions she criticizes from Betty McCollum.

I sent emails to her and asked, what exactly do you plan as alternatives and she never answered. All she says in public meetings is ''vote for me''. Well, that is not very brilliant.

Betty McCollum is an intellectual lightweight that supports Nancy Pelosi. She has voted with Nancy and her agenda 100%! TARP, bailouts, healthcare reform (now our HC costs are going up because of this), banking regulations, more bailouts etc...she spends money like a drunken sailor, and what does St. Paul have to show for it? Nothing! Any construction she claims came as part of the stimulus is a lie; those have been in the works for years! You can't just decide to start a construction project overnight; it takes years! In 10 years, she has only passed 1 bill in congress! True; it was the renaming of the New Brighton post office. She also supports Hamas, and not Israel. Lots of info on Betty on internet. Start with this where she doesn't believe voter fraud exists, yet we know from the reports this summer, there was significant voter fraud during the Franken/Coleman race.

There really is no decision here. Teresa is a brilliant constitutional conservative who believes in limited government. Betty is an intellectual lightweight who believes in socialism and globalism, who denies God, is anti Israel and doesn't think we have a voter fraud problem in Ramsey County. Betty voted with Nancy Pelosi 100% of the time and recently said she was "very proud" of her vote in favor of ObamaCare. Each one of these reasons on their own would be reason enough to Dump Betty, but in total makes here defeat essential! Vote Collett!

Looks like this Carlson guy voted for himself. Just moved here last year, and in researching Betty McCollum, there is no way I will vote for her. Lots of stuff about Betty on Twitter.

She answered my calls--every one of them. Spot on every issue. Not perfect but not brain dead like AX-GRINDER from North Saint Paul
Betty Hackcallum.

She turned a complaint about her kid getting hurt on a slide and turned it into a 20 year career. Look it up.

So you VOTED yes Inquirer? just to spam the the YES votes?

This is exactly why we have to RUN as fast as we can from the career politician and the status quo.

http://bit.ly/cOJ0lH Response to Collett supporter & lawyer April King attacking my focus reducing market search friction. Three economists won the Nobel Prize just days ago on this same subject, explaining the anomaly between high unemployment and many unfilled jobs, yet this Collett supporter thinks that's "fruitcake economics." She's obviously not interested in economics.

Betty McCollum voted for nearly every democrat agenda item. She also failed to co-sponsor Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill and of course, healthcare as well. She refuses to debate the candidates, because she can't cover her voting record.

Where are the Betty supporters? If you say she is great, justify it, otherwise you are proving yourself as unable to intellectually reason.

Don't say she voted for Obamacare; companies are either dropping their healthcare (3M), asking for waivers (McDonalds) or raising rates (Boeing).

Don't blame Bush for the economic woes. The roots were planted in 1996 by Barney Frank, Dodd and Clintons with the idea that everyone should own a home. And the Democrats have been in control of the House and Senate since 2006.

Don't say the stimulus; that was an epic fail at the cost of $2M per job created. I think we all know several people out of work still.

Is it good she voted with Nancy Pelosi and her agenda 100%? If so, why are so many Democrats running from Nancy now?

So, please, if you are a Betty supporter, let us know why. Maybe the rest of us are wrong.

Betty McCollum has voted 100% of the time with Nancy Pelosi in 2010 and 98.4% of the time in 2009 (govtrack.us). She has stated that she will continue to support Pelosi for Speaker and I want my congresswoman to represent the White Bear Lake area and NOT the San Francisco Bay area!

I'm NOT a republican, and on certain issues I know that Collett and I would disagree. But in general I trust her judgment. I feel like she considers issues from a solid ethical, intellectual, and compassionate foundation. All you need to do is hear this brilliant woman speak and you will know what I mean.
