So are the rest of Inver Grove's parks a waste too? Maybe we could sell them off, the kids can play in the pawn shop parking lot instead of at the playground. A fishing pier is a terrible idea anyway, only people rich enough to afford boats should be able to use the river!

Bud, maybe you should run for office? It seems you really have a pulse on what's important to everyone else.:)

What a great idea. There are lots of parks and other recreational facilities we could sell off and use the money to fund the city's upcoming deficit. Let's start with North Valley Park. Nothing but a bunch of d*u*m*b*a*s*s dope smoking teenagers who like to hang out there and play disc golf. Next would be The Grove "community center"/indoor waterpark. Last time my family and I used it was on a Saturday afternoon. There were five people in there swimming, which included the three of us. Lastly, the city should get rid of Inverwood Golf Course. Nothing but another money pit. Combine these three with the brige to nowhere, and guess what, more money to keep the basic city services, ie police, fire, and streets, going. IGH has absolutely no idea in how to be fiscally responsible and repeatadly throws taxpayer money away on worthless c*r*a*p projects.

Hey Sparky, maybe you should move out of IGH if you hate it so much? Or better yet, put your money where your mouth is and run for city council. Grumpy old man.

Not everything old is an antique...

That bridge is no more desirable than an American Motors Matador.

It's not about hating IGH as this waste occurs in every city. Sorry, but I'd rather properly fund the police, fire, and street departments before spending money to put in another recreational facility that only a few are going to use and loses money year after year.
