yeah, they sit on the bridge and hang out and talk. I have never seen any of them cause trouble, they are mostly good boys. Always polite and respectful when I see them.

It's a shame that big fancy church don't open up the gym for them I mean they did take the old ball court to build the new church.

I don't know anything about the creek or the boys. but, I do think all of these little creeks and towns need to open something for our children. No wonder so many are lost. Half their parents don't give a chit about them, or where they are. The other half are too busy doing good for everyone else. I think you all need to get the ball rolling. Why not go to the pastor of the church and see what he can do. Of course there will have to be adult supervison and rules. They act up just one time out for 4 weeks... And each time a longer time out.Just my2cents

They don't do anything! They sit there and act like boys. What else is there for them to do? Would you prefer them to be drinking, doing drugs, and breaking into houses. They are all good boys. I would defend them to the death of me!

I don't know about the unfortunate situations. I'm still kinda new to the area and don't know them well, but like I said, I have never seen anything but respect from them. Yeah, they call them "Hughes Creek Hell Raisers", I'm sure they do typical teenage crazy stuff....but we all did at that age, but that doesn't mean they wont grow up to be fine, successful young men, and women.

Actually the old ball court was where Dave Querry lives now, there was no ball court where the new church is now.

I think were confused here, the trouble makers aren't the children, may'be that it's the adult's that allow drugs to be sold in our community. I know of at least 5 homes in that creek that are wide open and I dont read anything about that on here.We wer'e all children and we know the Garden only grow's well when you keep the weed's out.

You're going WAY back now, "ole man." Back in the day. Guys like Roger Balser, Butch Johnson, George Slate, Larry Elliott, Raymond Withrow, Pete Proctor, all the old warriors, to name a few!

I remember that teenage corner. Ancil Long had it if I'm not mistaken. It was right above Rube Tucker's station. Which was later owned by Jack and Alma Hughes.

Ancil Long also owned the service station too, before Jack and Alma owned it.

Rube Tucker owned the station and sold it to Ancil and he was killed on Friday the 13th of October1972 . Jack and Alma bought it from Claude Long. The store at Happy Town was run and owned By Herman Hanson and his wife Opal.
