The all time best place to eat in FC was Hungry Rustler.
The Hungry Rustler was awesome! A Big R Burger with extra grease prepared by Russ himself with a two inch dangling cigarette ash defying gravity above the grill in his mouth.

I went, and it wasn't worth it. The service was awful, it took 10 mins to get 2 drinks, got the order wrong twice, had to ask for croutons for the salad, and then has to ask for rolls or toast. And then our waitress just sat there staring at the ceiling almost all night. I mean come on now it shouldn't be that hard to get drinks and write down on a slip what someone wants.
If you have a problem with the service, you should tell one of the managers. There are so many new people there, they need to know who's not doing a good job. The problems can't be fixed if they are not aware that there is one.

If you know anything about Matt T, he is not afraid to address any opportunity. I suggest if you have concerns or suggestions about your service or meal to let a manager know. The best part of having a locally owned business is the service. The politics and miles of red tape are not there! Give MT and chance to make that place your number one choice!

Got the pork dinner. Was very good. Only problem I had was no bread too. Congratulations to Matt and Marilyn for doing a great job!! We eat out a lot in FC. Mike's, Sawmill, Nanna's, Mallard's. Most of the time, they ate all good. But no matter how hard a place tries- sometimes things aren't up to standards. Maybe it is the person cooking that night or just a cut of meat that wasn't that great. I think they all do a good job. For all the naysayers- cook your own and then you don't have anyone else to blame. I will go back. Waiting to get food that is freshly cooked I'd not a problem for me. Go to Appleby's or Chili's and other places and see how long you have to wait!

The Wagon Wheel is still there, but the rest are gone.
I think Danny Ray Reeves has it.

A lot has changed... mostly for the worse.

Yep... the good ol' days are gone.

Where was Blue and White located? My grandparents used to take me there every weekend when I was little but I was so young I don't even remember the location ( I remember the little cans of orange juice tho)

How come you can't complain about this restaurant in here because the owners are Christians ? That hilarious. What's that got to do with good food and service.

I ordered the lunch portion steak medium rare and it was well done. The okra was cold and tough. The roll was cold and prepackaged. I'll drive a little further and spend a little more and stick to Mike's.

Its crazy at how mad some people are getting because others are complaining that the food and service is bad at Pops...isnt that what a forum like this is all about...to tell others about our experiences and relay warnings about places that are quite possibly a waste of time and money??? I dont know about yall but I dont have the money to waste and to go back to a place time and again and get bad food and even worse service. I eat out so that I dont have to cook and also to have a pleasant experience...if I dont enjoy myself, I am going to write and tell about it. Food critics do it everyday. That is how businesses can improve there services. Now I am sure that Matt and the people that run Pops are very aware that things are a little hinky at the restaurant considering the last few times I have passed by there , the parking lot doesnt have nearly as many cars as it had on those first few days. Hopefully they will try to fix those problems so we have a local place to eat since we dont have many options here.

We just got back from Pop's place. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Matt does a great job walking through the restaurant and addressing any issues personally. I had a "Pop's Burger" and my date had a Grilled Bacon and Cheese sandwich. Both were excellent. Her drink was "off menu" (hot tea) and the waitress never blinked. She brought our drinks, including the hot tea and served it with a smile and pleasant small talk. All-in-all, a very nice dining experience. Good job, Matt!
