I am not impressed... Never got my meal, watched bus boys dropping plates, didn't get offered bread, had to ask for it and never got it. No croutons in the salad, tasted my daughters entree and tasted brown gravy that was nasty and instant potatoes....will not be back

Wow! It was awful I agree! It tasted like bonanza which is why I won't be back....same low quality food....new pain job
I wish I could disagree.

Order partially wrong, sub par service, marginal food, etc.

We also passed a family leaving because they never got served.

I'll give them one more chance.

I've never been to a new restaurant, chain or not and expected it to be perfect. My food was good and service was great, it's a good thing for Forrest City. Cut them some slack.

Local business is great for everyone. Give it another shot and if you don't like something let Matt know. He deserves the feedback so he can fix whatever it is.

Me and my family with not be back. My daughters grilled cheese was so hard she couldn't bite into it. My sons Mac and Chz tasted awful like it was made from powered cheese. Me and my hubby ordered steaks and he had to send his back 3 times cause he ordered it rare and it kept coming out well done. It took forever to get service and when we got a waitress it was almost like not having one!

If I give them another try I will wait for a few months...this was the worst device I have ever gotten at a new restaurant, even with bad waitresses I almost always knock it up to a bad day...but this food was bad...that is the food that actually for to the table. The only good thing I can say about the meal I ate which consisted of salad when my meal didn't come, and everyone else had ate and finished, the lettuce was crisp! But the ranch dressing was watered down.

I agree. It takes a lot of courage to start a new business, especially in FC. Try it again in a week or so. I will

I'll try it once more, but its not like these folks have never run a restaurant before. Many of the same workers. Very similar food. I hope they get it together, we need that restaurant to stay open.

We visited the restaurant on the first Saturday night they were open and were quite impressed. The food (quality and cost) were great and the service was good. FC is very lacking in nice restaurants, so if someone has feedback to give the management, they should do that and give the restaurant a chance instead of tearing them down in such a negative forum. We will definitely be back, and will recommend it to anyone who asks about it.

Well...seeing that this restaurant isn't owned by some one that has never been in the business... And seeing that we got poor service, and one of never for our meal....and the food was blah....and that I came on here to see if others had said the same thing.... And on a private page asked people who told me yep it sucks I won't go back...meaning 5 different people, so yea we are all just grumpy and b!tchy, or is it poor service, poor quality food, and we just aren't fair at all are we ...I want my money's worth ad I didn't find it there

Besides the low quality food, I saw poor training from the service staff, I too was not asked if I wanted bread, I asked for bread that I never got. I can say the place was clean. But it was over priced for what it was. I think the menu was fine it was was came to the table that was not worthy of my family's hard earned money. Just having a private dining area isn't worth it either.

Suggestion~ revamp the food that your buying season it better or buy better quality or both
~ ask people for bread
~ offer croutons for the salad
~train employees better, tell them to breathe, but also to remember everyone's order
~don't try to compete with another restaurant make it your own, with your own signature atmospheres and food

Really think it is sad that people get on here and bash a new business. I admire the people that would even think about putting a new business in this area. Have not had the joy of eating there yet but I have heard good things. And most new or old business have good and bad reviews. You know this business has created jobs for this community and God knows we need them around here. So let's give them a shot at their new business and pray for success. They are a great people. GOOD LUCK POP'S PLACE

Yes it's so horrible to come I. A public forum and ask if anyone else had bad food and bad service, it's so evil

What do you think a public forum is for?Maybe if Matt Townsend reads these reviews he will know what has been lacking and therefore do something to improve the food.I think he needs to retrain his cooks because they are not serving food that people can eat.I want this business to succeed but if Matt does not know what is wrong he cannot fix it.
