Actually, Democrats, like Shapleigh, do not really believe that money grows on trees—they know that its origin is simple—it comes off the printing presses at the mints. They’re economic geniuses.

I note in today’s Times that GM, after taken over by the Government (Obama Administration), had its biggest loss ever,$4.3 billion.

After saddling small business with Obama-Care, we can expect more losses in jobs and the GDP in the coming years.

Just curious but what was the dollar amount Shapleigh spent, or is that information a closely guarded secret??? Seems like there is a accusation made against Shapleigh with no proof offered for the reader of this "this very articulately written EP Times" piece. How about some more facts guys to back up you claim.

Also, considering the distance necessary to travel from Austin to El Paso, how much went to pay for this addifitional travel? How about some more facts so we can be the judge of what is fair and what is waste, or are we just to take you word for every fact printed but not supported by facts? How about more facts...

FIGUERES the top spender is REPUBLICAN.

If Micheal Steele can go through 12million in one year as Republican Chair it is no surprise $500k is being wasted by each senator. Perry is spending $10,ooo a month on his rental property while he remodeled the Mansion. THEN decided to expand and make additions when there was a "mysterious unsolved" arson.

There should be a law stating the limit is 80k a year for expenses. What could they possibly spend on when there is internet, volunteers , minimum wage employees, and sessions only once every two years.

How much does Dewhurst, Hutchison, Abbott, Staples, etc at top levels with their block of BUDGET DECICIT spenders.

TEXAS IS in a budget shortfall that they themselves mis projected and planned for and probably created intentionally and Perry had to use FEDERAL economic stimulous for recurring expenses (when he claimed he wouldn't enless it was for one time expenses).
