Seems the only crisis in this country is Obama cutting trivial things. Those things will only have the effect of creating a Jimmy Carter II misery index. Personally? I think he's being a buffoon.

Rand is just there for the paycheck, lifetime health care benefits and celebrity.

All he actually did was take precious time away from serving the people. And he's proud of it.

Holy crap! The government may have spent a bunch of money on something the taxpayer wouldn't have agreed to???!!!!!!! Never saw that coming ...
You had to go back to Iraq to dig up evidence of wasteful spending?? Hell, just last week John Kerry spent nearly a billion all by himself in Egypt despite Sequestration so dire we can't even give the kiddies a tour of The White House and Obama had to opt for the plain white golf tees instead of those with a little presidential seal on the top.
Ridiculous.
Yep,....no more money for White House tours. But plenty of money for Morsey and the Muslim Brotherhood, who HATE the USA.
Go figure!
Let's not forget the 20 F-16's Obama gave to the Muslim Btotherhood. I wonder how long it will be before they use those against us.

And so is Biden, Obama, Kerry, Clinton, Schumer, Rangle, you name them, they are all there for the lifetime benefits. So, to accuse Rand of that little "crime" is rather chintzy of you, isn't it? Of course, we all know that it's ONLY the Republicans who are after the lifetime benefits. The Dems would NEVER be after the lifetime benefits and screw the American people.

I think a bigger threat than gifting jets to Muslims is the horrible state of our public education system.

http://news.yahoo.com/approximately-80-percen...

80% of NYC HS grads need to relearn basic reading, writing and math in order to attend community college. This coming after a report stating many public school systems have increased their non-teaching staff by up to 700% since the 50's.

I would think a staffing surge of that number, far outnumbering the increase in students, would result in positive advances in the education of our children, but no. In fact, just the opposite.

Yet we're being told we can't afford tours of The White House? That's this president's best solution to cutting government costs. A publicity stunt aimed to gin up outrage by the same people who always buy into his ridiculously obvious smoke and mirror tricks. Instead of enacting meaningful cuts to obvious areas needing to be trimmed, Obama is playing partisan games in between rounds of golf.

Some hope and change!

I think they should stay out of it. Let Obama own the White House tour cancellation farce. Let him continue playing games with the American people.

It certainly won't change the minds of people who clearly aren't paying attention, but hopefully enough current event-educated voters begin to recognize Obama, instead of leading this country and working for the middle class people, is actually just using them as tools in order to forward his own political ideology over the best interests of this country.

Television personalities stepping their big ego-maniacal feet into the spotlight are exactly what Obama and his smoke and mirrors team are hoping for.

Ya, Obama should have just boarded a commercial flight to and from FL for his vacation time to play golf with Woods. Left the Secret Service behind and rented a care just like everyone else has to get around in. Either that or just stay home at the White House.

After all no other president has taken any vacation time and traveled for it. Why should Obama. He just has to be a special case.

He sure sold himself to the American people as a special case. All people are doing is holding him to his own words. That's something I would hope the people who voted for him would do, but obviously they weren't even listening to his words in the first place.

<quoted text>When your rights are taken away or a member of your family is murdered without due process, we can say "told you so". You whine and complain constantly about Bush, but has Obama changed anything Bush did? NO, in fact, he has expanded on it to the point of his DOJ has now said it is legal for him to choose to kill American citizens on American soil without the right of due process guaranteed by the Constitution. There isn't an expert out there, including a lot on the left, that are not bothered by this little maneuver. Guess you with your "expertise" look rather stupid, don't you?
Check your facts, Really. The DOJ has said that the president can authorize the killing of terrorist leaders on foreign soil and not American soil. In fact, Holder sent a letter to Rand Paul after Paul's filibuster this week flatly stating that the Obama administration would not use drone attacks against American citizens on American soil. So, who is the one looking rather stupid now?

Obama's worst mistake was his naivety. Having an incomplete knowledge of the true extent of the damage done by Bush. And Obama wasn't the only new president that took office without a complete insight into the legacy being walked into.

And that's the major point. Bush did so much and extensive damage there is no easy fix.

Rand Paul DID know better. Even McCain said he did. And if he didn't he's not doing his job as a United States Senator.

You didn't realize this, but you're dumber than a box of rocks. You must have been one of George's kids who were left behind. Do you even have a clue how ridiculous Rand Paul looked before, during and after his 13 hour publicity stunt? Note that Holder responded to his nonsense with a once sentence answer to his dumb question? Why do you think McCain slapped Rand silly for the stunt he pulled?

and also explain why you need to post with multiple names and ISPs. You must think you're really clever would be my guess? Is there something we're missing here?
