I am always amazed when communities are willing to throw away their heritage for money; especially when individuals are trying to help them retain their heritage and investing private funds to do so--such is the case with the destruction of the Dixie Pavilion and the funds put forth by the Plafkin Family to try and preserve a landmark which had been created in 1932; if you do not know where you are from, how do you know where you are going.

It was in some swampland in Allegan County. It torched by Rogers family for the insurance because it was about to be taken for back taxes.
