LOL Wrong on all counts. Maybe you ought to get your nose out of faux news and Hannity's a-hole for an hour and smell some fresh air. As for the NSA data collection effort, Congress voted for and approved extension of FISA which started under Bush. Every member has been briefed on what NSA is doing and why. You're a f'n moron. People like you ought to not have access to the internet.
Don't take my word for it...You only need to ask yourself a few questions:

Do you have more or less civil liberties now than you did in 2008?. Are our troops back home? Has government waste increased or decreased? Has Obama repealed the unconstitutional PATRIOT act that the Bush administration concocted? Has Gitmo closed as promised? Has healthcare improved or declined since he's been elected?

I don't feel my civil liberties are any less now than they were when Bush was pres. Bush started two wars and didn't finish either of them Obama is doing just what he said he would do and that is to wind down those wars and bring troops back as soon as practicable. Obama doesn't have the power or authority to repeal the Patriot Act. Just how much power and authority do you think Obama has? And who says the Patriot Act is unconstitutional? YOU? Apparently members of Congress and the highest courts of the land think otherwise. Obama would like to close Gitmo and is/has worked for that end. There has to be a place to incarcerate the prisoners still deemed a threat. No one wants them either domestically or internationally. Moving them has been blocked at every step of the way by Congress and others. Healthcare in the U.S. is a mess as it currently exists. The U.S. spends more on healthcare in its current form than any other developed country in the world. Something has to be done about it or it will bankrupt this country. Doing nothing is no longer an option. Obama in concert with Congress is working to make improvements to deliver health care to more people, cheaper and more effectively. O care is essentially the same GOP plan implemented in Massachusetts under Romney. Where is YOUR plan to improve healthcare. If you can't or won't come up with one, then your the problem.

You do realize that the things you listed have nothing to do with your civil liberties? Or maybe you don't.

Nothing has changed about Gitmo since before Obama came into office. The issues that you list as making it hard to close existed before Obama showed up and were well known. So either Obama made his promise to close Gitmo simply to garner votes, because he was a fool that ignored reality, or both.

Agree that healthcare was a mess but it wasn't going to bankrupt the country. Now it is a bigger mess and not only will continue to bankrupt individuals but also the country. It will magnify the gap between those that can afford private medical care and those that can't, and disensent the medical profession from helping the poor and middle class. As with the Patriot Act, Obama took a bad thing and made it even worse.

Congress provides the funds for military action. Did your rep vote not to fund the wars? If they voted to fund the military then you, through your rep supported the wars. The R's certainly voted against the ACA, can you provide the vote where 99% of D's voted against the war, funding the war, or operating Gitmo?

The Patriot Act is not unconstitutional, but as the author has said, while Bush went beyond the intent of the act, Obama has gone even further and made a bad thing worse.

And if you think that the plan Romney implemented in a dark blue state like Mass was an "R" plan, you don't understand much of politics.

The plan was strongly supported and promoted by none other than Mittens ROMONEY. Without his support and promotion it would not have become law. Final vote on the bill was 154 to 2 in the Mass House and 37 to 0 in the Senate. Romney later touted it as his premier legislative achievement as Gov. until he decided to run for Pres. then he distanced himself from it and called it socialism. Obama's plan is essentially identical to what was implemented in Massachusetts and this comes from the guy who drafted the Mass plan.

I'm not changing the facts. You are assuming that anyone with an R after their name represents all Republicans. They don't. Do you honestly think that a health care plan put forth by Ron Paul (an R from Texas) would look anything like Romney's plan? Would Romney's plan have passed in a dark red state like Texas, South Carolina or Utah?

A MA Republican looks very different than a Texas Republican, just as Maxine Waters, a California Democrat looks very different than say Senator Pryor, Democrat Senator from Arkansas.

I'm not assuming anything Beaver. Anyone with an "R" after their name or calls themselves a T-bagger all big and proud suits you just fine. An R is an R Beaver. A T-bagger is a T-bagger. No matter how you slice or dice it. Faux news is faux news. Hannity is Hannity. No changing that or squirming away like a slithering little snake or mouse or better yet a RAT. You should just Quit making up the facts to match your party line or talking points and just stand there and take it like a man when someone smacks you in the face with a dose of REALITY. You look and act like a snake when you squirm and try to slither away like that. You look like a Hannity. The fact is -- the Mass health care bill has "R" or T-bagger running all through it. That's a fact. Don't deny it. If you don't like those facts then you should stay in your trailer, or your bunker, and just keep your big mouth shut.

About the same time you and pipester do the same thing, only with the Obama talking points that are sent directly to your email each and every day. And remember if someone questioning this administration is unamerican, then your constant complaining about the previous administration is unamerican as well.

Facts involve real numbers, things that actually exist, logic and information devoid of name calling, emotions, or insults. As your post above shows, you can't actually carry on a real conversation around here but that's not a surprise, we haven't had one person from the left in the past 3+ years that's been able to.

Maybe someday someone from the left will show up who can carry on a polite discussion. I doubt it, seems to be beyond them but there is always HOPE that things will CHANGE.
