Seems pretty light to me. I can't help but believe that the consequences would have been a lot greater for an average citizen.

I posted a comment put it did not take, wondering what GRPD would do but now I see your link says he is back on patrol. Isn't that special. "I wonder what a guy has to do to get fired around here?" Apparently shooting an unarmed student and/or leaving your gun in the can are not enough.
