Winter would be cool... if I were 20 yrs. younger and had all the toys I aged my body with. Performance sleds and showin' off to the girls have takin' a toll on these bones.

If my plans hadn't been interrupted with our economy, I'd be an ol' man showin' off @ Lake Havasu right now. Looks as if I may be doomed to dark West MI waste water play where only gravity tells me up from down.

What snow? Here in Rockford there is no winter on the ground yet. Yes along the lakeshore maybe but hell if you live there, well you know what to expect.

I think the changes are less navigable, less coherent, & less interconnected...agreed the old one was better.
Hey, you haven't seen our Snow, have you?

yeah,it gets old..winter shows up every year, the same dopes drive in the ditch and the news acts like its never snowed before...but yet its firearm deer season, and in a two hour news program, something that brings millions of dollars to michigans economy doesnt even get an honorable mention, but all the 8 year olds watching at 5:00 am knew to wear their snowpants and boots to school...thanks terri, were all to stupid to figure that out on our own!!!also, ive got way better insults than the ones previously mentioned, but im guessing that if i start slinging those around, the postings and myself will be removed from the topix pages!!!tee hee hee!!!

Except for the driving, the way-too-high heating bills, the constant weather alerts (duh- just look out the window!), runny noses, 60F temp in the house all the time, other peoples constant complaining everywhere you go, and fear of accidents...

I love winter!

They probably feel broadcasting dead deer with their tongues hanging out splayed across the ground might make folks Cheerios go down hard in the morning.
Ditch-drivers and sliders are much more appetizing :)

And I've been wondering how one goes about getting the job of censuring a site like this...now that's a gravy job! Bag of Cheetos and cup of coffee, reading a bunch of goofballs' comments ..."uh oh, that guy crossed the line"...zap! Now that has to make a person feel all-powerful!!:)

a bag of cheetos and a jack daniels is probably more realistic...some scmuck is sitting in his underwear at home reading our dopey comments and figuring out who needs to have the cops show up at their house!!!or the white suit guys!!
i think they have a few anti's running around at woodtv, which is why the coverage isnt there...by the way,you can push their tounges back in!!tee hee hee!!!

Last year someone spray-painted a roadkill deer's nose bright red. Now that's a sick sense of humor! Funny, but sick :)

I'd say you're pretty much spot on with your thoughts and comments. I always thought it was pretty ridiculous listening to a weatherperson tell everyone that there kids will want gloves and a winter jacket in the middle of January. Like we never could've figured that out. Also, they make it sound like earth shattering breaking news when some town along the lakeshore gets 4 inches of snow. I mean c'mon, it happens every winter, we get snow, it's not breaking news and we don't need a live broadcast from standing in the middle of the road telling us it's slippery and that the snow could continue. There are so many other news stories that they could report on and talk about but instead they spew the dumbest most mundane things that have no real relevance. I quit watching their program a long time ago but my wife thinks she can't be prepared for the day unless she hears what they have to say.

A two track lane on major "M" roads, how ridiculous is that?!?! Do they not realize how many people travel these roads? Oh yeah, lets cut some $$ and help make our roads more dangerous and treacherous than they already are.....I love the State of Michigan!
