At least Justin votes based on HIS principles, not the principles of the people with the most money. That is different from the rest of the immature clowns that are in DC. You have a wonderful weekend as well.

Speaking of immature clowns, I found this quote interesting.....

“We are going to get engaged,” said Scott Reed, senior political strategist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.“The need is now more than ever to elect people who understand the free market and not silliness.”

And the fact that you are willing to continue to blame "a small group" (Debbie Stabenow's words, not mine) of people in Washington instead of blaming the whole dang bunch of them is very typical and normal for those who think Obama and the Democrats are never wrong and would never lie to you. Who allowed that "small group" of people to cause the trouble? Did you ever in you mind try to reason that out?

That is exactly the point. Amash voted on HIS principals. Not for his constituents or the people of America. He was willing to have us default and look worse than we already do. He based his vote on his views and his alone. I have read many comments from people in his area that are turning on him and will not vote for him again. Just sayin.

Actually, the last offering sent to the senate suggested 2 things that the dems don't want. The first thing would have properly required all members of the house and senate and their staff and Obama himself be properly required to sign up for Obamacare. The senate (dems) rejected that...wanna guess why??
The second thing was giving people the same break as big business and wait until next year to require them to sign on. They rejected that as well...guess why...

I think the gop exposed the dems and Obama but are not getting any credit for it. The dems and Obama have managed to shift the blame while maintaining their capability to not have to sign up for Obamacare like they are legally required to.

Corruption exists on both sides and they all need to go.

Yes,there are quite a few who have said they won't vote for him. However, there are just as many who will. Time will indeed tell what fallout there is from this crap. I personally hope the American people across the country send a message to DC. They work for US, not the other way around. And Justin, to his credit, asks his constituents what they think. He doesn't come into town halls and tell them HOW to think, unlike Stabemnow and others. And John McCain needs to be the first to go. He is a Rino and has been a Rino forever.

The entire 16-day GOP shutdown was over the GOPs (T-baggers) demands that any debt limit CR be tied to defunding Obamacare. How is raising the debt limit a "blank" spending check for the Democrats. Also show us how Obamacare can even be LEGALLY Defunded."

I did..you just didn't happen to like the reply, dbag. How about you exercise the few gray cells you have left in that pointy head of yours and look it up for yourself, hmm, buttercup? I know it's hard when mommy's away and she can't hold your hand and do everything for you, but suck it up and be a man for once.
After all...as the Alzheimer's progresses, you won't even have that ability left to you.
Enjoy what little you have left while it lasts, dbag.

Well then big shot, be assured the House will have a different set of handlers in 2015. The GOTP done f'd up, and its showing big time. Sorry to see you're on the losing side again. But in any case I don't see how yout dumb reply above in any stretch of the imaginations supports The Mouth's claims about blank checks and defunding ACA. Show us o-wise one how your reply is in anyway relevant to my question of THE MOUTH.

Wow, you're a special kind of stupid aren't you?

Not my problem YOU have a problem with the Constitution. You asked how it could the ACA could legally be defunded and I answered. Did I say it was going to happen or even possible? NO, I just gave you the answer - STRAIGHT FROM THE CONSTITUTION.

Do us all a favor, pull your head out of your ass.

Overly Defensive Much?

The quote had nothing to do with you. What it was about is the fact that there is another group, deemed as people by SCOTUS, that is running out of patience with the political movement known as the tea party. That's the movement that vote their own conscience and the people or the country be damned.

And your favorite complaint that Obama and the Democrats aren't following the wishes of the majority is hilarious when compared to you cheering on Amash for doing that exact same thing!

It is very apparent that you don't have a conscience and that has been apparent for a very long time. And once again, "that very small group" to quote Debbie Stabenow, isn't holding the country hostage at all. They are exercising the same rights that you, pipester, Obama and the rest of the progressives have...the right to vote their beliefs. Don't like it? Time to put on your big boy pants and deal with it because, for right now at least, that right hasn't disappeared. Let's see what happens in the next couple of years.

Suggest you find better legal device than what you're getting on Faux News,The Blaze or the Heritage Foundation.

You cited Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution as the authority on how the ACA can be legally defunded, however this section refers to "Revenue" ... Here's what minds better than yours had to say about what this section means.

Revenue Bills

Insertion of this clause was another of the devices sanctioned by the Framers to preserve and enforce the separation of powers. It applies, in the context of the permissibility of Senate amendments to a House–passed bill, to all bills for collecting revenue— revenue decreasing as well as revenue increasing—rather than simply to just those bills that increase revenue.

Only bills to levy taxes in the strict sense of the word are comprehended by the phrase “all bills for raising revenue;” bills for other purposes, which incidentally create revenue, are not included.428

http://www.law.cornell.edu/anncon/html/art1fr...

If you don't like that one then go read what SCOTUS had to say about the ACA and taxing.

Or this one may be a little easier for you to understand.

I just love it when progressives find the exact same wording for an issue that was given to them previously and then say, "but it doesn't mean that."

As for defunding / repealing the ACA, its not going to happen. Here's the unvarnished naked truth "Really" and its smacking you upside your thick head.

The U.S. House voted 42 times to dismantle the law, but hasn’t succeeded once. The Democratic-controlled Senate won’t agree to get rid of the law in its entirety. Anything Congress puts together that substantially affects funding will certainly be veto'd, meaning Congress must override it with 2/3 majority. Them comes the recent shenanigans by Ted Cruz. He falls flat with his sham 21-hour “filibuster” in an effort to force the Senate to agree to defund the health law. Next came Cruz' fiasco CR that effectively said "Defund Obamacare" or shut the govt. down. We all know where that ended up and where the GOP, is as a party right now -- in the gutter!

Bottom line — the money designated to fund Obamacare’s most important provisions has already been appropriated, and can’t be removed unless the law is totally repealed.

The lunatic GOTP can slow its implementation but they can't stop it. Good luck with repealing ACA!
