Double-digit unemployment.

No direction in Afghanistan.

Economy in the toilet.

Massive tax increases on the way, as well as more socialism.

Fox and MSNBC report the conservative view. CNN reports the liberal view.

Lies? Yup. From both sides.

Rupert Murdoch is in it for one thing, the money. He doesn't care what tripe FAUX serves up as long as it gets ratings. Fear, hate, deception, exaggeration, and hysteria sell very nicely and Murdoch knows it.

F'ing seriously? I can't even take it anymore! We have soldiers DYING in TWO foreign wars and here on our own soil. We have DOUBLE DIGIT UNEMPLOYMENT. Our dollar's in the toilet and being flushed. We're shedding jobs left and right. There's actual jail time being proposed if you decide not to get health insurance and you asshats are still focusing on Fox?!

The window licking mentality as evident here and in every other Fox, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin thread is sickening.

Like most I am sure we have all watched the different news channels. I feel the worst reporting is CNN and CNN HLN those reporters stink. Especially the ones on the weekend, and of course CNN HLN loops their reports every half hour for like four hours at a time. The only difference I see is the perspective.

Now if we are talking about opinion programs which Beck, Schultz, Maddow, O'Reilly, Hannity, Matthews, Olberman, and all the rest are, its a different thing, opinions are not news. You may agree or disagree but, opinions cant be lies.

IMHO

If you feel so strongly about this, what the heck are you doing on this thread instead of focusing on those problems you enumerated?

Oh I don't know Radell, perhaps because I enjoy a decent discussion every now and again. One that doesn't have to involve calling people names or discussing how awful one certain news source is because it provides conflicting views. Perhaps I'm tired of the bs on every freaking thread that's become predictable to the point of being nauseating. It could be that I'm sick of you and the other liberals on this site intentionally changing the direction of discussion, or coming on long enough to call someone a racist and then leave. Nothing's being accomplished, there isn't even reasonable discussion here anymore. It's all partisan, predictable and irritating.

You are the one calling names. I am not a liberal, and I haven't ever changed the direction of a discussion. I happened by this thread, got curious, and saw your vehement post. I advise you to ignore ridiculous threads. I do agree that the discussion overall has gotten very unreasonable. I think there's a better way to raise the bar than the way you're doing it.

Care to enlighten me then? You know, show me the error of my ways?

And considering I'm an adult, while I appreciate your advise, I will choose to enter any discussion I see fit in a manner I see fit.

It would be nice if you acted like an adult when you did so. A huge part of the problem on Topix is people getting overly vehement and turning their "opinions" into attacks. If you want a reasonable discussion, you need to hold up your end and stay reasonable. Your post was very holier than thou, calling people childish for posting on this topic. Which is ironic, since you were posting on this topic.

What's reasonable about starting yet another nose-tweaking poll clearly intended to offer more opportunities to slam FOX News, republicans and conservatives? That seems to be all the Obama-supporters are capable of nowadays.

Never mind the fact this administration has lied to you time and time again over transparency, the deficit, jobs, where the stimulus money is going, who Obama associates with, whether he has a plan for Afghanistan, on and on .... all points of contention that the liberal dolts refuse to debate. No, let's continue to play this stupid "Slam FOX" game and then get all offended when people say they've had enough.

How about debating the issues that FOX brings up instead of just shouting insults and running away? Here, I'll start:

I'd like to know if democrats really support the law that Pelosi/ObamaCare states would imprison and/or fine anyone who doesn't buy health insurance.

Or is your stance that this just another "FOX lie"?
