Good. I am glad Hudsonville didn't just back down and change it. I am glad they are standing their ground.

What a pleasant suprise, some of our elected officials do have convictions! How refreshing. If we keep bowing to these "special interst" groups we are going to lose the freedoms we once fought for. We are not forcing anyone to serve God or even believe in God. We don't want to be told we can't believe and worship and we don't have any intention to force someone else to. If you read carefully, you will see that we are entitled to Freedon OF Religion, not Freedom FROM religion.

I support and encourage this community and any public official in any municipality to not bend or to stop honoring our Heavenly Father in any government procedure. This is the foundation of this great country "Under God", it is the corner stone of our history and many of our founding fathers realize just how important it is to base our country on a solid and strong Christian faith and strong morals. Many millions of our citizens during World War II also paid the ultimate price for our freedom and for our American Values. We need to remember that today and again I encourage and support any municipality, or politician to respect and to honor our faith and that of our founding fathers today in government.
I am proud to say that I am a Christian, and I am a Politician and will honor the ten commandments to the best of my ability.
God Bless America...

There is the common misconception of the US Constitution being a Godless constitutiion. The truth is that our fore fathers were not Godless men, but wrote the Constitution so as to remove Government interference with the free practice of religon. They never intended to take God out of government they wanted to ensure government stayed away for dictating to God.

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press,

Thank goodness! Great job Hudsonville! I am so tired of these people who feel so affend by the work God that they feel that no one should be able to say it. I say believe what you want and pray to whom you want or not to anyone but let me choose as to who I want to pray too.

We all will so true, all the same good for Hudsonville. It is no secret the kind of city they are trying to foster if people are offended, well deal with it or move to Detroit. From what I see in the news on them everyday thats a great place to live if you hate God.

Amen, Amen, Amen!!!

If I do not have the right to stop others from continually making and distributing porn, why should any else have the right to stop me or anyone else from believing in and talking about God!

Round 4 will be played out over here?
Do you really think the evil witch from the west is going to stop?
That would be surprising.
Her actions have to leave a person wondering, where she is getting the funds to do this.
