Anyway the police could be more effective with the tire deflators and thus end the chases sooner? Is more training needed?
they arent used to dealing with such retard's, and were laughing so hard at this idiot, it was difficult to throw the tire deflator's

<quoted text>How do you know that, Iam pretty sure that you know nothing about this story except what we have all read. they said nothing about drugs. And If by chance this person did not have a job/ Which I cannot believe that he maybe was unemployed, Since we all have jobs these days, Could have a little to do with the econemy/with no money.
Regardless of what actually happened, a thief is a thief. Why did he run? And yes, I'm speculating about drugs. Based on what happened, it sounds like a logical reason to run into a rest area before he got caught to me.

I agree, Im Just saying you know what happens when people ASSUME. And then you have people on here that say negative things, about others, and assume. Then all of a sudden it happens to someone they know, relative ect. then they try to defend them.

Pretty stupid for the cops to engage in a high speed chase over a tank of gas. Try explaining that to the family of an innocent victim killed during the chase, pure stupidity.

And what if this had been someone who had just killed one of your family members, but nobody had any idea yet because the body was in the car. Would it have been ok to chase him then? Even though he had only just stolen gas as far as the police had any idea. People don't run for no reason. Your post is "pure stupidity"!!!

I believe that they knew he was a gas thief and that is why they were chasing him. In other words they risked the lives of innocent people to apprehend a shop lifter. If they knew or suspected he killed someone that would be different but that is not what happened here.

You said you "believe", but you don't know. Also, I was saying that you never know what this person could be up to, but most the time people do not run for no reason.

No seriously...he stole some valuables and was drugged up. The cops were chasing him because he was going 130 miles/hour. He wasn't running because he was worried about not paying for gas. Believe me I know.
