This couple by their actions (obviously Drug Dealers) endangered not only their own children but their neighbors! They owe the community an apology and what about the danger they placed their small child in? Like Heather Smith said people move here to get away from crime I hope the Ericksons move and I hope the authorities check into the welfare of their children. Les Peterson is not the only one with his gun out now.

Thats right, let's blame the victims and run 'em out of town on a rail. Better yet toss 'em in jail for 10-20 years. even though there is no evidence that they were "drug dealers", acording to thier neighbors.

First of all, only cash strapped "reefer" users would purchase small amounts. What do you think? If they can afford it, why not buy several ounces, or even a pound at at time for personal use.
Do these cops, and anti-reefer people think that they want to be in constant contact with the supplier and buy 1/8 ounce at a time?
Contrary to the ultra conservative, right wing view, "reefer" is not a "gateway" drug, it is not addictive, it is not linked to cancer....it should be legalized!
Legalize it, tax it, reduce costs trying to enforce/prosecute...
If you don't understand it, don't comment!

According to the Constitution, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The police routinely target people without any just cause for doing so. This is especially true now that there are big budget gaps to fill and the law enforcemnt authorities expect people to buy their way out of trouble.

How dare these drug addicts question the legitimate authority of a guy with a gun and no badge standing in their living room! They deserved to be shot! There are two perfectly innocent explanations for this:

1. Intruder was a LeSueur Co. sheriff’s deputy who had been ‘investigating’ them earlier in the afternoon.

2. Intruder was a Lakeville police officer who felt compelled to intervene FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY because a light was left on in the garage, or some such.

I can’t believe the arrogance of the civilian population these days!

I totally agree with you. I am surprised that the couple wasn't arrested at the hospital. Maybe they will be arrested yet.

It's hard to read between the lines, but my assumption is that you are totally being sarcastic...either that, or you are a Michelle Bachmann supporter!

Yes, I would think that the "deputy's" behavior would have made them suspicious when he demanded money and so on. I presume that he wasn't a member of the now defunct Metro Gang Strike Force or did he just pick up on their MO?

There was no police officer (deputy) involved...just some armed wacko in a home invasion.

Of course they were suspicious, they fought back!

A "couple of ounces" is totally consistant with personal use, the police just want to jail someone.

The two laid back people who played sport with their kids outside would probably be OK and playing outside with their kids right now if that freak was able to head down to the local convenience store and pick up some MJ. Oh, and the state could tax it too. Wait, that just makes too much sense.

AND maybe the apologies should start with ANYONE who has ever had a drink and got behind the steering wheel. Yeah, I'd rather have them for a neighbor than you...

As far as the welfare of the children go, If they care enough about their kids to play with them outside and do the whole family thing, I bet they even put sunscreen on them.

I am so shocked about this. To think this All American family had drugs in that house. The shooter knew they had something alright...but then maybe the shooter was a hit man and the target was either the wife or the husband. Could be the wife wants to get rid of him or he of her. I am so shocked to even think this. But I am a Bilderberg....

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Capricorn

The detail-oriented Moon in Virgo is extremely supportive and helpful, so it feels good to know that you can count on some support. You may know just where the help is coming from, but with communicative Mercury all over transformative Pluto in your sign, maybe you're being looked after by your very own guardian angel. Don't let this encourage you to take foolish risks or overstep the mark.
