Mike likes to use his woman and kids to baby sit. He has never met a woman he wanted to stay with cause he cannot help himself. He has cheated on almost every woman he has had really think Mike is a sex addict, drug and alcoholic. Not to let him off the hook but this most likely is another notch on his bed post to him. He is a sick person. he is a predator of woman of any age. I wouldn't want my 20+ year old daughter around him he will hurt them one way or the other. He has Had 100s of woman. Only he might no that # None good enough for him. He has never been married and most likely never will. So this is to his current gal. Your wasting your time watching his kids and being his live in f-bud. he will cheat again. Maybe the life of luxury is worth that to you. maybe that's why your willing to stay with him. He don't care who he hurts in this process. Even his so called friends gals he will steal.

Mike is a pig. For most of his life he has been in trouble with the law. He comes from a family of alcohol and drug addiction. His father is also a pig.(like father like son) I have known the boy since he was 10 years old. He has not been prosecuted because he has money to hire the best lawyers. Wasn't OJ set free. What is a 35 year old man doing that he thinks it is okay to make sexual advanced to children. I do believe he provided drugs and alcohol to the minors because he is/was also a drug dealer.. I personally have seen all of it! For any of you who think it is okay that Mike did this,(because of what the girls were wearing) I advise you to make sure all the women/girls in your life wear turtlenecks and baggy pants for the rest of their lives.

If he was innocent wouldn't his 16 year old daughter have cleared everything up for him. I really feel for his children. I cannot imagine the horrible things being said to them at school. I agree the victims are hereos. Especially after reading some of the incredibly stupid things some of you are saying. mostly to "Does if Matter" I believe you have to be a Bergum to have said that. I know from very personal experience that there is not an honest Bergum alive. I know the entire family!

This man roaming around over in downtown Stillwater... should really help the towns tourisum by scarring all the tourists out of town!
Has this man been to court yet or when does he go? This would be very interesting case to follow.

The good news is that maybe if he's convicted the judge will put him in the same prison as his brother Billy. That way his Mom only has to stop at 1 place on visiting day! Not soon enough. Like others have writen, he is not in prison, and is out on the streets. Contact Doug Johnson's office at the county to voice your concerns . Help the young woman of the St. Croix Valley be a little safer.

I just have to say that its about time some one is trying to put a stop to Mike taking advantage of younger girls. i had a similar experience when i was 17 and he was 26. Mike has always been well off as well as presentable wich will make any young girl think that he is a good catch. I know that at that age i was very naive and he totally made me believe that he actually cared about me. This so call relationship went on for years and is so sad that it happened to so many of us in the same ecxat way, it just goes to show that Mike has absolutley no respect for women including his own daughters, and has no regards for anyone elses feelings but his own. Mike has been really lucky and has gottten away with what he does for way too long, we do have to be thankful that the truth about him is out and his good reputation is gone. He will get what he deserves sooner than later!

I have gone shopping with mikes credit card and he has never expected anything in return. I have known him for years and know that even though his kids have sometimes had a rough time he loves them and always will. They are great girls that should not have to go through this. Sometimes too much money does bad things to people but he is in no way a bad person. He has not always been the most trustworthy, reliable person to be around but who is? I think a lot of the people on this page are talking about him and the situation without knowing the whole story or him.

I would find it odd if someone I know said here take my credit card and go shopping?? I have many kind friends that have more than enough money. but I know they would never just give me their credit card, even if one of them would I would off this t ome I never would take them up on it, its just not right. Nanny be careful, think your running with the wrong crowd. Hopefully this guy is in jail by now and your safe!

I just came across this posting and I must say some of you are very entertaining. The question keeps coming up about the trial; I think it is coming up in May. The last time he was arrested in Jan., he only had four counts against him, so I am not sure where some of the information posted here is coming from. Don't get me wrong, I am not taking Mike's side on this. I am simply sitting back and waiting for the verdict on all the charges. I've known him for a long time, and I don't want to believe he did all of these things. If he is found guilty then so be it and he'll have to pay! I feel terrible for all of his girls, the older ones are going through all of this with him, and the younger ones are going to learn about later. It's going to be tough on them for a long time. I noticed that some of you are calling them by name on this site - don't do that. Give his kids some respect. None of you are stating the victim’s names, and his kids are victims too! "Nanny" we all know why he gave you the credit card to use ......

Obviously you have never been to court for anything, and do not understand the process. I have plead guilty to a moving violation that I did not commit. For my guilty plea, the court let me simply pay the fine and they did not put it on my permanent record. This is the "DEAL" the court made with me, it is called a "Plea Bargain" and it happens all the time, saving the courts and subsequently the tax payers time and money. Also, it saved me time and money. Not to mention I then knew what the penalty was, and I did not have to go in front of the judge and risk getting the full charge (paying the fine and it going on my permanent record) for something I did not do but it was hard to prove because it was my word against there's. I think I made a good choice because the judge would probably side with the cop. I think there may have been some similarities here, after all the press I think the court would have leaned to the alleged victims. I am not saying he is innocent, Just that a Guilty Plea does not always mean one is guilty. Usually, it means they do not want to go to trial. In a small town with so much press he had no choice, even if his is innocent. "TRAIL HAPPENED - HE PLEADED GUILTY. now tell me he didn't do it... and admitted. thankyou!"

You don't have the facts straight. They kept going back because they are best friends with HIS DAUGHTER NOT HIM!!!!! got it? they were confused and didn't want to betray thier best friend!!! They didn't have to be drinking in order to get drugged WAKE UP people. so all you ppeople who have nothing better to do than sit on the website all day and judge you need to be put in the position of these girls and see how it feels
