Toys Recalled After Boy Chokes on Plastic Nail - WJW

The Little Tikes Co., based in Hudson, Ohio, is recalling about 1.6 million toy workshops and trucks, after an 11-month-old boy got a plastic nail lodged in his throat.

What ever happened to parents exercising the "paper towel roll" rule? If it can fit inside an empty paper towel roll, then it will fit in a child's mouth.

Funny How after almost 15 years of this toy being on the market we have finally become dumb enough to have this happen, people need to wake up and pay attention!

I can understand being cautious, somebody tell me why the parents weren't watching their kid?!

There are toys everywhere that have small parts, and little kids put everything in their mouth. Just an accident..glad to see Little Tykes doing something about it though
