i like how they say we will know its a cop because they have distinct markings on them when i know for a fact almost every city has the hid a cop cars where they look like regular cars with a tiny flashing light on the toip of it... and we are supposed to feel safe nd pull right over when someone with a flashing light comes behind us. and how are we supposed to tell in the dark. maybe the cops should be more noticeale so people cant impersonate them so easily... how many times has this happened in ohio this year alone? obviously we have a problem... and hudson is a normally safe city

Some things I learned on the news today:
1) Ohio LAW is such that any traffic stops MUST be done by a MARKED police car
2) If you are pulled over by an UNmarked car, keep driving, but turn your HAZARD lights on while calling 911. The dispatcher will either verify it is legit (though they are not supposed to do this UNmarked)...or send help.

Plus ANY time you feel uncomfortable (ie: don 't recognize markings if they are on the car) CALL...Women especially will have the media ALL on their side especially if some unmarked cop (real or not) tries to pull you over and you call first while still driving...they could never punish you for being suspicious, especially in this day & age. This fake idiot ven has a fake uniform & badge, so BE CAREFUL out there, men & woman BOTH. Keep eyes open for the car as described in the news and CALL it in IMMEDIATELY so we can catch this loser.

PS-- If you don't have a cell, do as above, but drive to a police station or VERY public place with a phone

This imposter is so bold - he stopped my son in broad daylight - 5:30pm on a Friday - close to the clocktower where he was riding his bike on the sidewalk -- and he talked to my son for probably 4 or 5 minutes! It's amazing that a REAL police officer didn't happen to pass by during that time and in that central location. PS-There was no front plate on the Crown Victoria.....
The emergency light was the temporary type, sometimes used by volunteer firefighters. The guy was probably in his 40's. Carried a night-stick but no weapon or personal radio like the regular officers have.

if they have a 1/2 inch sticker on the trunk that says "police" the car is considered marked and you most likely be charged with fleeing. just bend over and do what the nice policeman says. lol

Yet again, another joke. How old are you? I just wonder what problems you have.

considering all the tazings and takedowns of old ladys and non-criminals and general overuse of force that has been in the news recently i tend to question what would happen if i was signaled to pull over by a unmarked car and decided to drive to a "safe" location. from what ive seen, heard and read i honestly believe i would get the beatdown as soon as i stopped. i would most likely be charged with fleeing and resisting arrest merely for driving to a well lit safe area. and im sure if there was the tiniest sticker on the unmarked car that said "police" they would say "it is not a unmarked car" then they would also tack on "having criminal tools" and whatever else they can think of just to make my life more miserable after being arrested. im sorry you are so offended but, i can assure you many (not all) people feel the way that i do about police and their (over)use of force. as for my problems, are you offering help? if not, then they are none of your business.. as for age, i was born in the 1960's. And by the way, this IS a comments / opinion forum. not everyone thinks like you or me and they too have every right to post what they think.(and no, i'm not implying we think alike)
