What is it about? Could they not see with their own eyes the entire property slopes to the house???? Looks like they built their house in a depression in the Earth. What possibly is going on that they didn't expect other than that??????

I pass by this house every day. I always knew there was a problem with this house because the property slopes towards the house. Anyone who LOOKS the house could see this! No doubt, the house has moisture/water and possible mold problems.

Exacltly. Not sure what could be a surprise with that..I can only assume that is what this could be about. The first time I saw the house it's the first thing I thought. I don't think the CITY is in the house building business, so the owners should be mad at the contractors they hired.
BTW...why the H are all these people BUILDING yet more houses in a beautiful historic area that has PLENTY of ALREADY available houses? Just HAD to squeeze one more house into a depression in the earth? This place is slowly losing it's character and on its way to yet another indistinguishable bland Ohio town like many others...If THAT happens, then YES it IS time to be mad at the city (in fact that's a good reason to be now). They need to stop this building and OVERCROWDING where you can't even drive through the main intersection without waiting for 4 light changes because it is so crowded NO ONE will even WAIT THEIR TURN for the light and blocks the intersection so the other side can never have their turn to go! Be mad at the city because NO ONE is stopping that crap when it happens every single weekly midday and again between 4 and 6 pm! People don't move here to be crowded by tacky new McMiniMansion subdivisions that bring a rude, entitled and aggressive attitude to the small roads! Hudson is sadly breaking away from the small town, each helping each other mindset that DREW people here to begin with. If this keeps up it will look like every other place with their foreclosure villages of these "new homes". THAT's where the city needs to be blamed. Turn THAT train around.
NO MORE of this mindless (and in this case inexperienced/CHEAP) building when there is NO ROOM and plenty of house already FOR SALE. There is nothing HISTORIC about garagemahals!

The content of this thread has strayed from the original topic faster than a male tabby up a tree after a white Turkish Angora with fluffy white fur. For all of the speculating around here we are still no closer to knowing who Jeff and Fred are, what they lied about, and who they lied to. How this got to be about DREW and traffic and trains is remarkable. Alright, my head is very small and I forgot what I wanted to say so I am going to take a nap.

Hudson is already a bland suburb. It became that when they built a suburban shopping center in downtown. They should have left it the way it was.

Everyone say hi to my stalker westsider65, who follows me to every thread to spout illiterate nonsense because I disagree with crucifying people on a message board before proven guilty!

I wish he would upload a current photo to show all the dirt that was placed around the house. The current project appears to be a band-aid and not a solution. Why would you buy a house that is obviously prone to flooding? You don't need to be an engineer to see the obvious!

Those are the names of the two code enforcement people. I drive by there all the time and the property still looks like crap. Very noticeable as you come through Hudson. Feel sorry for anyone living near there will def lower value if they try to sell.

It's clay, and nothing grows in clay.

Lesson to be learned here is...
Before you buy a home, hire your own licensed and accredited home inspector, accompany the inspector during the tour, and most importantly LISTEN to what the inspector has to say, especially about the geology of the property!

Does Hudson even have code enforcement people anymore? Seems pretty lax whenever I drive through there these days. Lots of litter everywhere too.
