Is it true that the latest offer is for Aurora to accept a wage freeze and the same insurance we have in Florence?

No you don't have the facts. There was a wage freeze offered for 5 years for the people who were still working on January 17th. The other 68 people they have laid off when they are called back would be on the two tier system is what they offered. And if your medical is $60 copays $500 deductible for single and $800 for family then yes the same shitty medical.

If you don't have a union, then the two tier system is even worse. You aren't guaranteed call back rights, by Kentucky. Seniority doesnt necessarily rule. Ask Wayne Hyde. The company can layoff anyone they choose without any rules to follow. Then call you back at the lower wage scale. It's being done alot. Read about it.

If you want to know what's going on be at the meeting on the 24th. That information is not for this forum. The union made an offer.

So this means the company is no longer asking for wage concessions. That's good news right?

Cutting wages is the main reason people are upset in Florence. Now that no longer is on the the table.

A two tier salary structure is how you keep the workforce at the lowest pay rate. Nancy did tell us at the meeting it was going to be implemented. Ask her, she won't lie about it.

What about your health insurance. For 84.00 a month you get higher deductibles & co pays. In 2012 if your meds cost 50.00, now the same meds will cost you 200.00 to 250.00. Plus now it will cost you, 1000.00 or more a year to insure your wife. What is going to happen for 2014?
