I think this is despicable. People of Daniel Smith's calliber should be castrated and repeatedly subjected to a similar type of abuse that they put upon their victims while serving a life sentence in the harshest "correctional facility's" general population. It is unthinkable and inexcusable for an adult human being to come anywhere near a defenseless child in any sort of threatening manner, be it sexual or otherwise. I hope Satan holds a warm spot in Hell (if it exsists) for people like this.

The system is not working. Stop with trying to rehab these people and remove them from society forever. If these children were animals, you have had this guy locked up and put away for many years. Judges pay attention and remove these waste products from society. Protect our kids first.

Agreed. Our laws are far too soft on these scumbags. Let me spend some time with him. After breaking all his fingers and toes, we can lock him up.

Lock him up & throw away the key...no cable tv/no phone/no free education....nothing. Put him in general population & let them take care of what our laws state we can't.

I agree with Gregg in Gainesville, Fl The system isn't working.
It's true that people impose stiffer penalties for cruelty to animals rather than cruelty to children.
Look at all the animal cruelty commercials.
Very few child abuse commercials, if any.
Warped sense of values.

Jesus did Not come for the self righteous, but for the sinners...
All have sinned and fallen short of the kingdom, None are righteous.
If you think you are better than anyone, you need to take a hard look in the mirror.
Judge not lest ye be judged.
Jesus, Please forgive and bless us all.
Thank God almighty, we are all forgiven! Not by works but by the grace of our heavenly Father!!

Jesus Saves! You hit the head on the nail! Way to go. I stand behind you on this. Even the child Molester are in gods eyes. The child molester is not a monster in christ eyes. His sin is no way any different than anyone of us. A Sin is a Sin in Gods Eye. Therefor I do not Judge the Child Molesters. Does society know what happen to that person who molested the kid. Maybe they them selfs were molested. Curious Greg put out an interesting challange out there. Any responces to that?

I wonder why Drug dealer don't have to register like the sex offenders do. Wouldn't the public want to know if they were living next to a drug dealer, Or worse yet a murder?

Wow, after 14 posts, the lynch mob has not one realistic solution. Yes, we'd like to kill, castrate or burn the guy blah blah blah. Ain't gonna happen, this is not Saudi Arabia. We don't need the security moms to come out and tell us its not an acceptable behavior.

The Sex Offender Registry has created a whole new class of people who are supported solely by YOUR tax dollars. They can't/won't get jobs, can only live in certain areas, and now the tax payers get to subsidize the rest of their lives. So now that the knee-jerk hysteria has created this situation, the politicians have "fixed" it by making the public pay for it....and NOTHING has changed. Congratulations.

Kaili, parents are the only real protection for kids, cops and judges can only do so much.
You are not as mean as you are short-sighted. And not once did I notice any real suggestions from you, just manic rage.
One suggestion is to let all sex offenders live together in special housing facilities with no supervision - they can do as they please away from the general public.
Something really basic, maybe even outdoors on the plains of Oklahoma. Minimum cost to the public.

And how is posting on message boards considered "protecting" your "kids"??

answering you on a message board is obviously not protecting my kids.I was only answering you.
And getting out how i feel about sex offenders.
Actually,i like that idea of yours, let them all live on their own together. Not a bad idea sir.
I didn't mean to be rude,i thought you were implying parents should have no rights, sorry about that.Actually your ideas are pretty good.

Boy Kaili You really don't know when to call it truce do you.I 100% agree with Mr David's Comment. It ALL BOILS DOWN TO THE SIMPLE QUESTION FOR ALL YOU MOMS LIKE YOU KAILI. " WHERE ARE YOU CHILDREN." You are 100% responcible for their actions. You Brought them into the world now step up to the bat. In Referance to the challange that no one else seems to want to answer well I guess I'll start the ball rolling. Yes I think Drug Dealer & Murders also should have to register in some sort of NY State DATA base system like the sex offenders unless you all like Drug Dealing & Murders. If you don't they why haven't you all done something about it? So what do you all answer to the challage we have before us.

Because shallow politicians have already squeezed all the political "juice" out of drug dealers and murderers. There is more than enough tracking of all types of criminals - its all about how much the revenue and public out-cry might occur due to one of these groups. Supply and demand, sort of.

I am hopeful that someday our children and everyone in society will be able to go to school or play in their neighborhoods without fear of molestation by sex offenders, sales pitches from drug dealers, or threats of violence from murderers.
Morality as determined by God's Holy Word will be the only way toward this end.

Don, i do keep in charge of my child.
she is 2 not 16,not exactly out for parties just yet.And when she does get older, trust me,her father and i will still know her whereabouts and such. And her friends associations too.So don't get all high and mighty on me.I am a good mom,i just want sex offenders accounted for and in check with the law.
