If you ever did anything worthwhile for her, she forgot to mention it. She told me lots about you, always followed by excuses for you. I'm thinking she figured I could rescue you, at least financially, but there are some human creatures that nobody but God can rescue.

Took in male stray number 2 in 2004 - the Marine. Took his abuse for almost a year before he did me the favor of sneaking out when I was at work one day. Haven't heard from him since.
Hooked up with stray number 3 (mentioned above) 8 months ago, know he's a lost cause but great fun and a good friend.
Had one date with your pal Wyatt, arranged by your pal Penny. My son and I, along with Penny and her daughters, went to a concert at Wyatt's church. My son and I and went out to eat with Wyatt afterwards -- dutch treat. He's a nice guy, didn't float my boat (son thought he was a dork, Penny's daughters thought he was gay), and I didn't float his. Glad to hear he's happy.
