This kid got some very bad advice, from somebody and I think it was his high school coach. Once he leaves Alabama, he will not be remembered in the state of Ohio, I can promise you that. Here he would have had the whole Buckeye Nation behind him. Does anybody ever hear of Kijana Carter ? Hell no ! He left for PSU and has not been heard from since. Bad mistake.
He will live to regret it.

learn to read - the kid grew up a michigan fan, if they were good and stable he wouldn't have been a buckeye anyway. He visited both schools 3 times each this year, he chose Alabama, get over it. As much as we all may hate to admit it, OSU is not for everyone.

Did you just throw out Kijana Carter???

Carter was a standout player at Penn State\
1994 Penn State team to a 12-0 undefeated season. Despite playing only three seasons, he is still in the top ten among Penn State running backs, having compiled 2,829 yards rushing on 395 attempts and scoring 34 touchdowns.
Carter helped lead the 1994 Penn State football team to an undefeated record and a berth in the Rose Bowl. He earned co-MVP honors during the Rose Bowl game, rushing for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns on 21 carries. He ran for an 83 yard touchdown on the first offensive play of the game, which is the third longest run in Rose Bowl history and the longest run in Penn State bowl history. He was encouraged by head coach Joe Paterno to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. "This is the first time I have told anybody who has not graduated that I felt they ought to leave," Paterno said. He finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting for 1994.

Yea, holy cow, he should have been a buckeye, he had a horrible college career at Penn State. There are a lot of guys who's NFL career doesn't pan out as projected.

Poor advice by his HS coach, bad mistake, not remembered, etc, etc. Please stop talking B4L, isn't it entirely possible that the kid just didn't want to be a buckeye? He did grow up a michigan fan (according to some articles), he was never really a buckeye guy to begin with. So stop playing the blame game and accept the fact that not every kid grows up wanting to play in the shoe.

It would be great to see this kid chase Braxton Miller around in the NC game in a couple years from now, it will make OHIO look very good to have two special players like these two on the same field.
As a college football fan, I'm looking forward to it.
For Trey, best of luck to you, let's make OHIO proud.

Ya know... if these boys were worried about where they could get the best EDUCATION I might care... but since he probably looked at it as looking better in the NFL draft and he probably won't even bother earning his degree I don't really care where he goes.

Five years from now he will more than likely be an injured former football player wishing he would have taken advantage of the free education he was offered when he had the chance.
