I was at a public place not to long ago and there was this big, dirty looking, loud mouth man who smelt like a brewery talking terribly about hoxie school, coach Sears and Mr. Truxler. I didnt even know who this character even was until I ask some other people sitting there that were looking even more appauled than I. I was embarrassed for the poor drunk. To top it off he was wearing a HOXIE MUSTANG shirt!!!! lol...Really? Then it occured to me where I had heard that name....He runs for school board EVERY chance he gets and always loses!!!!!Then the other people around me witnessing this explained to me that Sherry Clements was his sister and well lets just say the apple doesnt fall to far from the tree. She goes around running her mouth to. Hoxie hopefully for your sake they will move to WR with Crisler!!!!! I mean I guess they have kids in school at Hoxie? If so move em.

Are you so sad that you must start drama on Topix. It just shows to the character you really are. Maybe you will move and another big-mouth sh*t-stirrer will be gone from our little community. That would be a holiday!

Sad, sad, woman.

PS I don't know the Jeff person, but I am sure you haven't said it to his face. Coward.

I have noticed for tne most part, that Topix isn't used as a forum for real debates or to discuss issues that are important. It is used more often than not to start rumors, to bash people, to hurt people, to seek revenge, and be able to hide while doing it. I have found a few good things but they are few and far between. Of course Topix isn't the only place it is done, it is just one of many. People have always talked and gossiped about other people or things that are going on, but the internet has made it possible to take it to a far more sinister and vicious level. What is it they say about CHARACTER? CHARACTER is how we are when no one is looking.

I keep seeing posts from girls/women inquiring about Eric Anglin and Tony Anglin or this or that Anglin. The Anglin guys have always been good looking, rarely will you find one who doesn't have those gorgeous eyes. So women are always after them, but please, if they are married---leave them alone. And the same as for the Anglin women, they have always been very attractive ladies. But if they are married...back off. I have known this large loving family for over 55 years. They have had their ups and downs like all families, but the one thing you can count on is that they will always be there for each other. The patriarch and matriarch (Wilburn and Lucille Anglin) were wonderful, loving christian parents who raised their children in church. The parents were wonderful singers and Dad Anglin played the guitar while singing in church. Most of their children also had a gift of singing. Some of my fondest childhood memories are going to church and hearing the Anglin's sing. I remember Dad Anglin as being a tough but loving disciplinarian, and his kids respected him, no matter how old they had become. I remember Lucille as a happy, joyous, loving mother who loved one child as much as the next. I don't know the exact number of children she had but I believe there were 13. They absolutely loved their mother. The parents would be proud of their adult children if they were still alive and would have adored each and every grandchild, great grand child, and on and on. I have no idea how many Anglin grand children there must be by now, but there would have to be very many. Anyway, someone asked about Eric Anglin (who I do not know) because I am older. So I thought I would give a brief history of the Anglin family because they were such a blessing to my family growing up.

Wow, this was so nice! I love my family and yes, its very true that we are a huge, loving family. In saying that, in every family there will be some who face and go thru problems. The key to a successful family is everyone sticking together and loveing each other thru the hard times as well as the good. Our grandparents taught respect and love and thats what is still being carried on. So, whoever you are, on behalf of my family, I say thank you and God bless. Oh and they passed the singing bug along to me too. One of my favorite things to do! lol

Good for you Sweetie, you keep on singing! They would be so proud of you. I get so tired of all the negative comments about people on Topix. As I said, I don't know Eric or Tony. I am older and do not live there any longer, but I have noticed that many times people will ask a question about somone in order to stir up a bunch of gossip. So I thought I would share something about the history of the family. It made me feel good to think back to those days, and I hoped that some of you might see it and be blessed by it. I know your Grandma and Aunt Flossie would have like it! It is so hard to lose our parents and grandparents, but we can carry on their legacy by making them proud of who we have become. I wish some of the great-grand children and great-greats could have known them. If they goofed up back then, Wilburn would have jerked a knot in their tails! lol! We live in such a different era, and as you have said all families have their share of problems but love and prayer goes a long way to solving those problems. God Bless!

Thanks so much. I plan on singing til i'm old and grey. lol Your right about this forum though, all I have mostly seen is people bashing and its sad. I miss my grandparents so much and my Aunt Floss. I tell my son's about them as much as possible and I know they would have loved them. Your also right about grandpa...he wouldn't stand for no nonsense. I use to think he was the biggest man ever..lol He would pull out his banjo and kick it up for us kids and we would all sing and dance away. I miss those days but love that my family still gets together and laughs and sings. Well, again, I thank you so much for all your kind words. Hopefully it will rub off on other people to maybe start doing the same for others on here instead of posting bad stuff. And by the way, my dad is Rick Anglin and i'm very proud to be his daughter! God bless you and your family!!

Take care little Tammy! I don't do Facebook or E-mail but if I ever do I will contact you.(I am a little behind the times)HA!!
