A real zinger....coming from someone that lives in Crime Hills.
Cut the kids some slack..... have them clean up the mess... I did far worse in school... Then at a reunion was told by the assistant principal how funny it was..... Our bureaucrats have lost their collective sense of humor.

Wow, I can't believe you are still talking about this OLD NEWS. Doesn't Lickskillet, KY, have anything else going on, like an annual frog-jumping contest or moonshine tasting festival? Anyway, who lives in Crime Hills???

I feel bad for the cop. He was probaly just there to make sure things did not get out of hand. Every school does pranks. The prank last year at Eustis was far worse than just placing a goat in the school. This whole situation got blown far out of proportion

Nothing to serious....borrowed some chemicals (we used to use real chemicals) from the chem lab and mixed them together in a guys locker during 6th period. It smelled like rotten eggs....except real strong. They had to dismiss school early.... We got busted the next morning....

Then at a high school reunion a few years ago the subject came up with the assistant principal...he remembered and said he could hardly keep a straight face while we were getting lectured on it.

Well Chris this little berg isn't like Orlando. Eustis doesn't have a murder everynight. You are right about one thing...when I lived there we did go to the Tobacco Festival. What a good time that was.... yeah man.

That is awesome!

We didn't do anything as crazy as that. We DID steal the cleats from a display on the Junior Class's Homecoming float. We then passed them around the senior class and photographed them in different places for weeks. There are some funny yearbook photos from it. We actually got in trouble for that. Go figure. I have my 10 yr reunion in 2 yrs...

Pranks are a part of high school life. When I was in high school in 1990, we had a big game against our rival. The entire cheerleading squad got together and made a huge sign for our school (I was a cheerleader, honor roll student, senior class officer, editor of the school newspaper, and lots of other posts in the school). The morning of the game, my sister and I went to the other school (a private school) at 5AM, used the ladder to the roof and hung the sign from the roof of the other school. Our mother drove us there. Guess I better tell mom that's she lucky she's not in jail. Had we been caught, the police probably would have laughed and let us continue hanging the sign. The principal from their school called our school and congratulated him on our school pulling it off. Of course, when he called down the cheerleaders and class officers, no one would say who did it. He just shook his head and laughed. It's called high school and harmless fun. High school must suck today.
