The Livingston county court system is a joke. From the judges to the prosecutors (rose),it's just a bunch of criminals. If this county was ever investigated they would find that (rose) sets charges high and maybe throws a few extra charges in so they are sure they get a conviction. We have the highest conviction rate in the state.

There does appear to be an over zealous approach without much true investigation. Judge Hackett-Garagolia was the most abusive and biased judge I have ever seen. He was hell bent on crashing ever man who I saw in here court room. She once let a PPO stand in a case that had no evidence and the complaintent did no even alleged the defendant had any contact with her. The only evidence the judge could sight was that the man had once spanked his child, not even a matter of argument in the case.
The bench in Livingston county seems to be firmly in the hands of members of the American Bar Association. They all appear to have a very cozy relationship bouncing from the prosecutor's office to the bench with some regularity.
Currently there is a case before the court of a man accused by his brother of raping him. This accusation was not given in a affidavit or sworn before it judge but thru a "care video". The alleged victim gives no details, offers no evidence and says it alleged rape happened over a 12 year period in which he was raped while others were "around". There is not cooperation of these allegations by anyone and the accusations came on the heals of the alleged victim's brother refusing to give the victim a car. The alleged victim is also a know drug abuser, pathological liar and closet homosexual who was afraid if he did not have an excuse for his behavior, he would be ostracized by his family.
The courts and the prosecutor know all about this but, they are "in the money" when they have cases like this on the docket. The Sheriffs department are now a willing accomplices as they get from $60 to $250 per night for each inmate. Would you like to have a hotel that could charge those kind of prices and would not have to clean the rooms?
