Marriage equality? Only a true fool of a male would get married in this country considering the legal code.

I live in the Earlysville, VA area and have been forced several times to do without electricity for a week (after the derecho last summer for example). It is certainly no picnic, because when you live in the country and have a well, no electricity also means no water. I am sure MOST people would consider it an emergency if they had to go a week without internet/cable, try a week without a shower or working toilet for "roughing it"!

Do you also tell bums to "get a job"?
Or homeless people to "get a room"?
You are real helpful, but here's a clue for you... it takes money, honey!

What do you do when the generator quits, like my neighbor's did after 2 days during the derecho. Then you have no backup plan. It's better not to depend on them in the first place, not to mention the gas you hae to buy at $3.60+ a gallon. No thanks.

Generators are like insurance, it's better to have it (or one) when you need it than need it (or one) and not have it (or one.) Every May there are hurricane preparedness articles and checklists, they don't end in December just because season ended. We're not talking end of the world prepper here... just enough to get you though until the infrastructure gets back on it's feet.

I know I always push "made in USA" but Northern tool has some great deals on generators, and so does SAMS club.

There would be no long lines if fast food places didnt have to fire half of their workers because of Obamacare!
