Interesting that someone waited 9 or 10 days to report her missing.

Sounds more like a runaway teen. The article says they think she may be in the Fluvanna area. Maybe that's the reason for the delay in reporting.

They think they can "live" on "love" when they are that young. Their minds don't process the information that their parents have been taking care of them all these years. They can't make it on their own either. If they do, it by sheer dumb luck.

Dont you all remember what young love is like? But dont mess up your life because if you you do then one day you may have to move in with your ungrateful nephew and his bratty son.

The assumption that she ran away for "love" is just that.....an assumption. Nobody knows why she ran away - or indeed, IF she actually ran away at all. Just because it said she may be in the Fluvanna area doesn't have to mean she's there voluntarily. All it takes is one person making an assumption for people to get the ball rolling with a pack of stupid lies.

I'm savanna Kristina's best friend, and she is a run away not missing. This is nothing but a joke she's called crime stoppers as what she told me when I talked to her . So this is plain stupid.

People, while statically Kristina is most likely a endangered runaway don’t make the assumption that means she is safe. Even if she left willingly until police locate her anything could be going on.

Google the names Kara Kopetsky, Alexandria “Ali” Lowitzer and Skylar Neese, all were considered runaways at first.

Kara, 17, from Belton, Missouri left school just like Kristina did. Police were sure she ran away. That was over six years ago. Despite numerous searches for Kara’s body she has not yet been found.

Ali, 16, was last seen alive getting off her school bus in Spring, Texas. She called her mom and told her she was going to walk to a nearby fast food restaurant where she worked part-time to pick up her paycheck. That was over three years ago and no one has seen of heard from her since. Authorities, who at first insisted that Ali was a runaway, now say foul play is suspected.

Skylar, 16, a high honors student from Star City, West Virginia was seen on video tape slipping out her bedroom window and going to a car. Police felt she would return when she was done having fun. And Savanna from Manassas, her two besties insisted she was a runaway. In January this year Skylar’s skeletal remains were found over the state boarder in a Pennsylvania woods. Her two best friends who insisted she was a runaway not a missing person, well one admitted to killing her, the other, the one who stabbed her to death, is set to go to trial for her murder.

I wish my girlfriend had run away with me when she was 17 instead of letting her parents move her far away. We both would have had a much happier life, but that was 35 years ago so who knows. Besides there is such a thing as legal emancipation at 16, we just didn't know about it back then.

I'm not making no assumption that she's safe, I KNOW she's safe I've TALKED to her, this was completely planned run away she's out of state. I know she's fine she called her guardian enlighten and told them she's safe ! I'm 100% sure of my word, she's posted on Facebook, on the NBC 29 page, called crime stoppers, called me.. She's not in any danger I know Kristina more than anyone commenting on this.. She wouldn't put herself in danger and wherever she's at I know she has people protecting her. So chill.

I would take a long hard look at how well you know the person she is with before I was sure she was 100% safe.

If I cared about this person and had contact .... you might want to rethink how safe she is.

I hope you are a minor like your friend. If you are over 18 you may see a "CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR" warrant (if you were dumb enough to use your real name in these posts)...
