Man charged with child enticement

A 39-year-old Howards Grove man was charged Tuesday with allegedly having inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl at his home Monday.

Sharah and Shane Schigur are "Therapy" Foster Home parents, through a private foster agency. In other words they get paid BIG Bucks to provide this type of "Therapy" to kids. When Social Services, the Private Foster Therapy Company, and Sarah Schigur were made aware of a similar incident that happened a couple years ago (to the same child), they managed to brush it under the carpet and left the girls there. Of course the Social Service worker for the private company, who oversaw the girls case, was also best friends with Sarah Schigur.....how convenient!! If the girls reported anything to their case worker, she would in turn tell Sarah, and the girls would get into trouble. This is only the very tip of the iceberg....

And who, exactly are you? You seem to know so much about the family? Are involved with them on a daily basis to know this info?
Of course, if this really did happen, it is appalling. But if not, maybe we should give the family the benefit of the doubt until it gets sorted out.

Sticking with the facts....Sarah and Shane are "Therapy" Foster Parents for Community Care Resource, Inc.. They provide "Therapy" foster care for children with emotional disorders including: ADD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, SEXUAL, Emotional, & Physical Abuse, etc. What has been allowed to happen to these girls, is very appalling, I agree. I trust the judge, with ALL of the information, will be able to sort through and sentence Shane to exactly what he deserves! I only hope that another child, especially one that is in need of special "therapy" help is NOT forced to endure this type of "Therapy" with Sarah and Shane. I also hope that this case is formally reviewed, as there are many details and problems that were brushed under the carpet from the beginning. Joy, Sarah's BEST friend should never have been allowed to be case worker of these girls. Much to much was overlooked, and allowed!!! I hope Community Care Resources, Inc. takes a closer look into their policy, and their staff. Hopefully, they learn from their mistakes! They should be very concerned as to what went on here. Who are we? People concerned about the children present and future....concerned this doesn't happen again!! Knowing the system, our guess is it will! These people should not be allowed to care for any type of child, let alone those with special needs. There is a history here that was overlooked! Yet these children remained!! Now they remain in the same school as Shanes children's school, how can that be? Who is looking out for these children? Much to much time is spent letting these type of people, who are out to make Good Money off of these children, find a way to keep doing it at the childrens expense!! Who is looking out for these children? An over run system, or a private system watching out for their own butts? Who are you, family of Shane and Sarah? My point exactly!!!

NO FAST JUDGEMENTS, PLEASE!!

No one has yet mentioned a very common occurance with female foster children, especially those who are victims of a biological union that in no way might qualifiy them as "parents".
Many of these forgotten or unwanted care a big burden. Who can blame them if some are easily tempted to take advantage of anything that they think may serve them to an advantage. In many cases, they do not have the capacity to evaluate how they have been favored by being in a foster home. This can lead to taking advantages to achieve some goal that is tantamount to "biting the hand that feeds you".
This does not mean abuse charges should be taken lightly. The danger lies in not taking the time to thoroughly evaluate the statements coming through the prism of the accuser.
I have witnessed many incidents very similar to this during my many years as a public school employee. A very small percentage have unequivocally been ligitimate. Mostly the results of these accusations resulted in many adults being stigmatized and held in derision, even after they have been absolved.
Furthermore, I need to add that it is quite obvious that the JASON, writing the prejudicial statements, is attempting to descredit this family for his own reasons or gains.

Is it true that you are the one that put them in foster care. and that they come from one worst cases of abuse in the state.and that one or both parants are suspected of sexual abusing both of them and that you where found un fit to take care them by a court when you found out that you could porfit from it

i think what happened to those girls in the schigur family was messed up in so many ways.... the 14 yr old girl than had reported early before reported shane schigur touched her and no one listened to her and told her it was a dream. She knows what the truth is and what happened, they both had to go through so much and now the truth came put and it is about time people found oout what a gross disturbubbing he really is.

look up the mom and dad and does it matter that the mom had told both girls that a man named shane raped her who by the way is a cop does it matter that both leann miller and troy miller are in jail for the rest of there lives for the worst case of child abuse in the state at the time do I need to go on sometomes when people try to help other people the take right up the , and they both also have a history off telling theese kinda storys but being minor's that is all sealed
