I'm glad no one was killed. The photo looks serious.

"The 17-year-old truck driver tried to avoid hitting the SUV, swerved to the left, crossed the centerline..."

Somebody from WOOD TV has been reading these comments.

In the past, this line would have read "The truck tried to avoid...". But we all know that a truck does not control it's own actions.

Bravo WOOD TV8 for using proper English and grammar!!!

That's why teenagers riding in the same vehicle together is such a bad idea.

It's not good when a car is upside down!

No one can figure out how those kids got out of that truck with just a few scrapes! The driver..on his way out from under it said:"My dad's gonna kill me!" I heard that him and his dad worked on that truck for 3 years and it was perfect.

He told the cops that the sun blinded him so he didn't see the 4,000 pound auto sitting there with the blinker on. There was a lot of traffic right there because folks were going to the VFW from the funeral home where they had a memorial service for their mom and grama who died.

It would have been just horrible if that truck had hit that car as fast as he was going. The passenger in the car was one of the daughters of the mom who died. It was really scary!

The grandson had just said a prayer that God keep them all safe as they went to the VFW. Guess it shows that prayer works eh?

I'm thinking his dad is going to be thankful his son wasn't hurt. Who cares about the truck. That can be replaced, you know?

parrot4, I agree, but it's going to happen. Unfortunately.:-/

ummm....sorry parrot4,....just because some teenagers were riding together doesnt mean that you should judge teenagers as a whole. that was rather ingnorant on your part. I am a teen myself and I have never been in a car accident with another teen, only adults. So does that mean adults shouldnt drive together...? No.....some people make mistakes. So dont go and make some ignorant comment judging on what happened with the two boys. They both go to my school and are rather intelligent men and i am just glad they are alright. Accidents happen, everyone makes mistakes. Its not like they intentionally crashed or intended to hurt anyone. So i would appreciate it if you didnt go on and make comments on a whole group of individuals based on an accident that happened with two teen boys....

Saw that- Prayer doesn't work the way you think it does

its probably just as good as me flipping a coin. There is a fifty fifty chance that you will survive going to work in the morning. just because you pray doesn't mean that you are not going to get hurt.

Not everyone believes that prayer works, so dont try to "give proof" that there is a god and praying to him/her works when in actuality there is no proof. There wont be any proof until you die. So let everyone believe what they want and stop trying to PROVE your beliefs are real.

I'm not hating on you for your beliefs, I think anyone should believe in what they want, but I cannot stand people who try to force it on others
say what

We need tougher testing for teen drivers; maybe every 6 months and back to drivers ed if they have an accident.
