I had a bad experience with these people (seemed like 2000 of them). They are nasty and aggressive and try to brow-beat into taking one of their properties (supply you with lawyer, homemkers, school student and whoever else would stop for minute.
They tried to force me to buy their skinny little property which I told them wouldn't quite fit the bill for me. Their customer service skills is for the birds and they show you the most expensive place or some cheap place, although they know how much money you have...
I lost about $1,500.00 on a deal but the money and heartache I saved overtime makes that all worthwhile.

2000 Homes Queens Does its best to keep its customers happy. First Time Home Buyers tend o get scared when the process moves to quickly.

My niece (who had to borrow the down payment and is unemployed) asked my parents, one who is 93 years old and one who is 85 years old to co-sign a mortgage. She told them that they although they only get social secuirty that they would be eligible to sign (??). Do your research this company has been taken to court for these practices. Look at the article from the New York Daily News.

i dont now what people are talking about. 2000 homes didnt want to sell me a house that i really wanted because they told me that the monthly payment will be to high. so tey convinced me to take something smaller and affordable for my monthly payment. yeah the process took fast but they stood behind every word and i will refer every friend of mine to go there.

I was caught by the bait and switch. There was an ad in the paper for a forclosure and the monthly payment was perfect only $100.00 more than the rent I was currently paying. It was TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!! I called them and set up an appointment to see this house. When I got there I was told by the salesman (who I will not name) that this was not the house for me. It was in a bad area, it was a foreclosure, so the fixtures were probably cone etc. I wanted a house in Laurelton. He said ok and took me to a house which was being gutted and refurbished it was small and I was told I could pick out how I wanted it to be rebuilt. Well it took 3 months to finish I was in the last month of my lease and did not want to renew. I was told in october that it would take two weeks to be finished. I was told to bring any fixtures I wanted to be put up. The contractor they picked was only concerned with making it passable. It took 3 months to complete so much for 2 weeks. Theyfinished 2 days before closing and I was unable to get an inspection by an engineer of my choice so now I have windows that are cloudy, basement windows which has missing concrete so moisture seeps into the basement walls and the walls are full of mildew, a light fixture in the basement does not work an electric socket in my bedroom started spitting fire, the backyard light has a short, the outside electric sockets don't work, The doors have so much space between the bottom and the floor that the wind comes in and there is enough space for mice to come through. they did not seal the grout between the tiles they put down so that anything spilled soaks in. I was told that the garage could be fixed for use then found it had been torn down completly and the garbage in the yard was left for me to clean up and carted away for $150.00 Every day there is a new nightmare I had to have a portion of the roof repaired when I came home and it was raining from the light fixture. To top it off, when we signed the contract the seller put in the contract that I would get 10,000.00 at closing. After the closing I asked about the money and was told they were not going to give me 10,000.00 and that I could either take the house without it or don't take the house. I showed them the contract and they still wouldn't give it to me. we finally agreed on $5,000.00 This is only a part of my experience. This house is going to cost me a fortune to fix up. Please, please, please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT conduct any business whatsoever with 2000 homes or any affiliate. They truly don't care about your well being, and they are only after your money. They hire fly by night contractors to perform "patch work" on the properties before sale, and they prey on those of us who are new to the home buying experience. I have so many regrets. They try to pressure you into using a particular lender (even offering to cut 10,000 dollars off of the price of the house if you do), they race you through the house walk through, they set you up with a lawyer of their choosing. It is a complete SHAM! Completely underhanded and unscrupulous business.

In dealing with 2000 Homes, did they suggest using a lawyer named Angel Ruiz? If they did, you should know that he is NOT a lawyer. He is a paralegal. I have run across him in another "one-stop shop" mortgage scam.

THANKS TO YOU ALL!!! I SAW THE AD IN THE PAPER FOR A GREAT DEAL. I CAME TO QUEENS AFTER EXPLAINING TO TALLY (REAL ESTATE AGENT) WHAT I COULD AND COULD NOT DO. UPON ARRIVAL WE DISCUSSED WHAT I NEEDED. SHE KNEW I WAS A NEWJACK. WE SAW 3 HOMES. THE FIRST WAS A TOTALLY GUTTED HOME. DELAPIDATED AND SMELLED OF OLD WOOD. THE STAIRS I WALKED UP WERE JACKED UP AND THERE WERE NO WALLS! I AM 7 MONTHS PREGNANT AND I WAS PISSED OFF. SHE DIDN'T OBVIOUSLY CARE ABOUT ME. AFTERWARDS SHE THEN ATTEMPTED TO CALM ME DOWN AND TOOK ME TO 2 BETTER LOOKING HOMES OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE AND 1 WAS IN AN AREA I TOLD HER B4 I DIDN'T WANT. UNBELIEVABLE. I DIDN'T CALL HER BACK AND HER PARTNER CALLED TO APOLOGIZE AND QUICKLY WANTED A NEW APPT WITH ME. I AM NOT GOING AND WILL DELETE THEIR INFO FROM MY PHONE...THANK U. WHEN IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT DON'T DO IT! CRAZY...

this is very interesting...thanks for the heads up. Will not conduct business with someone as such. Looking for some reputable, torah fearing agent who will not defraud my family. Thanks.

We, my family and I have went to many realtors for approximately a year and 2000 homes was one of the many. They pressured us into closing.Did not follow through on their promises when it came to the horribly incomplete renovation. Went back on their word numerous times. It got so bad that come to find out, the living room wall was damaged all along but they cover it up, literally with paint. When it came time to fix the damages, it was revealed that the walls were filled with mold and fungi, that smelled. They eventually fixed it after kicking and screaming. 2000 homes should not be trusted. The are just a whole bunch of Jewish smucks hiding behind their little Yarmulkes!!!‎

This is all strange to me. Maybe your expirience with your agent was not the greatest but i was very happy with the way my agent and 2000 homes helped me! Buying a house is very stressful, I have 2 jobs and no time for games. These guys made the proccess simple and quick. I love the fact that I was provided with everything I needed to get my home fast. My agent was never pushy, yet very informative of all the steps I would go through, he was there every step of the way and I will recomend Joe to all of my family and friends!

I was also ripped off and I will not stop until I get justice. I would suggest you call Mr. Grearty at the Daily News.

This group is one of the biggest circles of crooks going. People need to file more complaints with the attorney generals office. 2000 Homes in Jamaica Queens will lie, cheat and steal to make $1 dollar. They have everyone in their pocket to work for their own benefit.

Majority of their realtors arent even NY state licensed!!

Be careful!!
