Lawsuits against 2 Ohio towns challenge political sign rules

Local restrictions on posting political signs infringe on constitutional rights to free speech, according to a lawyer who has filed a federal lawsuit against one Ohio city and a similar suit against another.

There are more important things to worry about then signs being displayed or not displayed. I dont appreciate my tax dollars being wasted on things like this.

What can be more important than Free Speech? This ordinance was narrowly passed with two commissioners raising the issue of constitutionality at the time of its passage. This is exactly what our Court system should be handling.

Posting signs on your own property is fine, but the idiots who plaster the stupid signs up all over median strips, public rights of way and utility poles should be cited for littering and the campaigns be held responsible for cleaning the trash.
